Meh, of all the things he's said this isn't that bad. Obviously it's crazy to hear any coach say that the OL doesn't have to be dominant, but I can sort of understand what he means. It's a reasonable philosophy for an Air Raid offense with the ball coming out fast. It's a horrible philosophy if the offensive gameplan is RPO, RPO, 4 verts. Nothing Briles or Yost couldn't fix.

I almost wouldn't care that he said that. I heard it and was ****ed, but you know what? It would be fine, he's right. We wouldn't need explosive plays if his offense was working. But for some fcking reason, he is incapable of seeing that his offense isn't working...that it hasn't worked since he's been here. We've only won games when we've had lots of TOs and/or explosive plays. We've literally never won a game by coming out and dominating a team 5 yds at a time. So to say that we don't need explosive plays tells me that he is completely out of touch with the reality of this team.
