Richt's most recent comments on OL

This photo encapsulates last year's OL quite well with all 5 of them getting beat on the same play.

I do think they'll improve though.

**** vs fau at that.

IMO the o line can't be much worse than last year. How we had a 1000 yard rusher last year is mind boggling, as is Kaaya not getting seriously injured.

You harp on the "can function" part in an effort to stir negativity but neglect the "and play well" part of the sentence that followed "can function."

Appreciate your speculation that my conment was an effort to stir negativity. The record would indicate from my previous posts, without question, that has never been the case.

Considering your situation, and my word that I would not demean you for it, let's turn towards the facts.

According to Richt, "We probably got seven guys that we think can function and play well in our league." Not "we are confident", not "that will". And that was the basis for the concern. Richt, by most accounts, appears to be a well spoken amd deliberate speaker wrt his HC role and the program he leads. I think its likely he chose those words.

Its not a personal attack on these young men, but their performance from last year leaves much to question headed into the 2016 tilt. Hopefully for their unit, better physical preparation, better coaching, and.better scheme will lead to much improved results from the awful 2015 data sets.

And there are 3 OLineman holding in that picture...

Now don't stir up any negativity...

You're not a bright guy, so I'll keep it as basic as possible. Richt said he thinks he has 7 guys who can function and play well in this league right now. He hopes to develop the younger guys and also raved about the improvement in physical conditioning.

You're looking at last year like a rube would. The good thing is that that ENTIRE staff is GONE. On top of that, the OL has another year of physical maturity, the benefit of better conditioning, better scheming from a professional OC, and more time working together to gel.

So, you can post all the stupid pictures from last year that you want to and wring your hands and stir hysteria like a feeble chick. Fact of the matter is it's a clean slate with all new variables that renders last year useless as any kind of predictor. You also neglect to mention that Kaaya already told you the entire OL was playing through pretty serious injuries last year aside from Isidora.

As I promised publically, I will not demean you in light of the fact that you are Higher Functioning Autistic (likely Aspergers). Have at it with your meltdown, it only adds to the 20k+ posts of evidence you've given everyone already. Pick up a DSM-5, just your posts alone score "100/100" (the scale really isnt that, but for arguments sake for you to understand) in every HFA assessment category. Your hyper focus on odd/irrelevant details, scatological obsessions, constant mimic to other posts and their phrases, the list of your positive HFA markers is extensive and well documented...by you...and you alone.

And, you ignored two of our researchers who sent you PMs for a study. Its ok. Rail and rage away.

Go Canes.

Haha makes all the people on this boards that give Kaaya crap look really stupid. Remember when he almost got killed on Clemson's two man rush?[/QUOTE

LOL, this picture says a million words!! And yes for the naysayers blaming Brad, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

This is where Gus Edwards will pay off big for us this year. I saw a significant amount of improvement from his freshman year to his sophomore year. Granted he still had a ways to go. Now, give him an even better RB coach and a whole year off to learn even more and I bet you'll see a MUCH different back this year. Also, who would bet against Richt being a better play caller than X-Box Coley? This alone will make our line look much, much better.

Gus has never run like a power back. I won't believe it until I see him routinely lower his pads and engage defenders.

True freshman Gus ran high. Sophomore Gus ran lower. Now?? I seriously doubt you see an upright Gus in his 4th year here.
This plus hes running a 4.4. Hes an athletic freak which is why we recruited him. 4 years later and a decent rb coach in ice and a very good rb coach in Thomas Brown and i think Gus breaks out. I look for the run game to be better in all phases thus year.

Gus aint no 4.4. If he a 4.4 duke johnson shouldve ran a low 4.3 then.

he's a 4.5
