I was looking at Richt's losses at Georgia and noticed a pattern...
His teams rarely got blown out & a lot of the losses were by a TD or less...
He's said it quite a few times, that the game comes down to 4 or 5 plays that
make the difference in the game... He's got to be on the other side of those 4 or 5
plays and start winning the close ones...

This Offense has to Stop Spotting the Opponents the 1st Quarter, they come out Flat, with
No Intensity, No Emotion, or Passion... Richt has to fire them up, and start calling plays with
some sort of Rhythm, and start taking advantage of our Player's Strengths

It's that old school "keep it close till the 4tg quarter"way of thinking. He 2 yards and a cloud of dusts it to a lot of heartbreak.

I think Richt wanted to start fast vs. FSU.
First play was play-action...for a sack.

We should hire Rich Brooks, Fulmer, Tubberville or Spurrier. They all owned my boy Rix.

With the exception of 2012, it's been a pretty rocky ride for our boy Rix since 2009. That 2010 season is a horror show. Colorado and UCF? Ooph.

Unranked 4 out of the last 7 years playing in the down SEC East, not good.

We didn't get Richt of 10 years ago.

In Richt's first 11 losses 2001 - 2005, when Richt was calling the plays, the most Georgia scored was 17 points.

Same pattern here - the defense did enough to win, and the offense failed.

All the signs were there....

This is what drives me crazy. His body of work from his FSU days no longer matter. Neither do his first few years at UGA. The game has significantly changed from those days. What has he done in the last five years, that to me is the real question.

Total Record at UGA since 2010 is

56-24

60-30 in you include 2016

That's not a good record no matter how you slice it.

Scary as fck. Dude couldn't take advantage of Muscrap being at UF and Treon Harris being their QB last year. He let sorry *** Mizzou win the SEC East a couple times. I'm shook.

I can't believe he lost a game to Dan Hawkins as CU coach. What's even worse is he seems to struggle against anybody who's not a corch. He only beat Fulmer once Fulmer turned into a corch of Al Golden proportions. He never beat the good Fulmer of the later 90s/early 00s. He only dominated the Wildcats and Commodores when they were under corches. He even went 1-2 vs corch Ron Zook and IIRC Zook was fired right after that game.

That Colorado loss might be the worst one on that list. And to lose games to the Zooker and be Spurrier's dog even when he had the talent advantage was frightening. How about getting worked a couple times by Kentucky?

In 2006 Colorado went 2-10 including losses to CSU and Montana State. Richt only beat Colorado that year by 1 point. And UGA was losing by 13 points coming into the 4th quarter before they made a comeback to win 14-13.

Even though UGA won that game that might actually be Richt's worst game as UGA coach.

**** the **** was getting beat by Ron Zook mane

When he finally beat corch Zook, it was such a breathtaking shock that UF fired Zook as soon as he arrived back on campus. Richt created the impression that he'd never be able to beat Zook.

His work as an FSU assistant never really was relevant in the 1st place. All that matters is what he does as a HC. People who mention his time as an assistant remind me of people who mention Butch's work under Jimmy Johnson

Blake James must have forgotten to delve a little deeper into Richt's tenure at UGA.

But its ok if you don't win championships as long as you have the character of a champion.

Has a Miami coach ver had a 750 winning per cent even playing in a weak conferee like the ACC?

Where's all the perennial top 10 and 10 wins seasons drivel that was everywhere leading up to his signing
