Richt will be the GOAT

I think the staff right now might be good enough to get to 10 wins, but to be the GOAT he's going to need a GOAT staff. Coach Cool, maybe Diaz might be there now. Think Jon Richt and Rumph will have to be shown the door. Thomas Brown is unproven, but could be a sleeping giant rockstar recruiter. Not sure about Dugans, has been getting left behind with some of these WRs. Searles could be Kehoe reincarnated, not sure yet, hopefully he's upgrade but his track record at VT and Texas has me worried. Banda is a wild card.

Yeah Browns only coached Nick Chubb, James White and Melvin Gordon. Sounds unproven to me

Kool was the best hire by far IMO. Searles is Okay. They rest are crap shoots. Manny has a great attitude but has not proven anything to match his mouth.

You're right. I could have chose my words better. He did a good job with Gordon and prepping Chubb. I just think a lot of Canes fans think he's responsible for all the great RBs UGA had recently, BUT that was more Bryan Mcclendon.
 
Should we at least wait for Mark to beat noles? This is THE U so Mark has to win three NCs to be our greatest of all time. Or two NCs and leaves us with team loaded with NFL 1st round picks and no NCAA investigation. Or win back to back NCs period. Personally, I will be happy with crushing fsu back into the empty beer can form they belong, winning a NC and making the playoffs 3 out of 4 years.
 
As with any previous season, I hope my beloved canes are able to win big. While I understand that this is the most qualified coach we have EVER hired, this evel of excitement was also present soon after Radio was hired and then again when Tub-O-Lard got hired. In fact even headed into last season their were still people on here suckin AG off.

Here is to Richt winning big at Miami. It would truly cap off a great run if he is able to leave CFB on his own accord after winning multiple titles at Miami.

He is the coach we've waited for for years. He won't jump at the next big offer thrown his way. We finally won't be rebuilding from scratch every 4-5 years. So sick of that.

I have high hopes that Richt will be better than our last 3 coaches. Then again, I'm just an eternal optometrist.
