What does it say about our previous staffs that Richt at half capacity has our program in a better spot today then 6 years of radio and golden? How sad is it that we are undeniably better as a program even though stuff like this comes out? Sobering stuff

I dont want to make excuses for the man, because last season and some other aspects of his tenure were unacceptable...but, as a man, at some point, you just get tired. He had been at it for a long time...no breaks.

I am sure he had good intentions here, but this job is labor intensive. Its why a lot of the previous head coaches haven't succeeded. This job is a LOT of work. You need to be grinding like a young Urban Meyer to be successful here. Straight up, our previous four head coaches are lazy by the standard that needs to be met. It is what it is.

That not only falls on the HC, but the rest of the staff, too. This place needs guys that are first in the office, last to leave, don't like sleep, etc.

Wouldn't shock me if Richt got back into coaching after a year or two. End up at Georgia State or something. That Frank Solich / Bob Davie route at a school that doesn't require a fraction of the grind.

But yeah, his time here was that of an old man clearly needing to be put out to pasture. Ain't no country for old men, in South Florida.
 
I said dude needed to be fired in 2017 and people thought I was crazy. Matter of fact I was one of the first if not the first person to express concern about our S&C.

I kept saying us getting limited push vs Syracuse and Duke was a problem. I don't know how people ignore what their eyes are telling them.

Dudes on here were telling me he was doing great because our players don't get tired. WHAT TYPE OF EXCUSE IS THAT. Meanwhile we can't get any push against UNC, Duke, Syracuse, GT, Pitt, etc. Those team are not only NOT good on defense but they don't recruit well on defense either. We got 4 stars across the board and dudes make it seem like rocket science as to why we get no push up front.
