UVA last year (imo) was when Richt lost the season last year and never recovered.

Last night's loss to UNC, particularly 4th and 17, is the moment Manolo has lost this season.

Flake Faker is the Patrick Nix of DCs. He is not D'No bad, but far from good enough.

What have these two games revealed?

- If offense doesn't score AT LEAST 30, likely loss
- Offense slowly trending up scoring
- Defense trending down with points allowed

I don’t believe the season is lost after one conference game. Despite the abysmal ending, the team is just as good if not better than every other team we play. We have the better QB of any other team left on our schedule. I get that doesn’t fit the doom and gloom, Fire this coach narrative but it’s the reality of the situation. There are no world beaters in the ACC outside of Clemson and everyone predicted us to have at least 1 if not 2 conference losses.

The question becomes do we have playmakers on defense? If no, can these coaches scheme up enough plays to the point where we can over compensate for it?

I'm done watching Miami football till they start becoming great again this season is over for me already lost to a instate rival and to a crappy UNC team I say Miami goes 1-12 if that doesn't make the team start winning I don't know what will.

Your proposed solution to creating a winner is losing?

If it will get the coaches to coach better right now the coaches are doing nothing and the players to play better then yes

Anytime a team has to rely on other's wins/losses, the season is lost.

Miami no longer controls its Coastal destiny.

The division can be dropped back into Miami's lap, but there is nothing they can do at this point but hope.

And that just continues Miami's pathetic mediocrity.
