RICHT & the OFFENSE for next year

My posts are clear.

I think Richt could be a good CEO if he realized his flaws and got help. He needs help on offense; which is obviously the biggest issue with the team. Instead we keep keep our nepotism policy and hire Patke. We also need help on STs too. Defense isn’t perfect (far from it) but given the other two real concerns and the way they carried us last year, let’s start there.

I also call it like I see it. Your last post on the issues was atrocious.

You really do have very clear post, and you clearly call it like you see it, one of the clearest and beat posters this board has. For those of us who are not quite as astute as you , constantly remind us several times a day what Richt needs to do. Thanks for all your insight and wisdom, obviously you are a coach or has coached in past.

What is a “beat poster”?

"Critiquing" him. Yep that's what you're doing.

You have a seriously unhealthy obssession with hating the guy, it's sad

It’s a shame that you’re unable to read what is actually there. Maybe you need help because you’re reading things that don’t exist.

The data has already been provided and we need help on offense and STs.

Loosen the tinfoil helmet and look what is actually there.

Our offense has been beyond pathetic all things considered. If Coach Richt wants to control the offense then he better get some outside help stat. I look at game film from our offense under Coach Erickson & I see an offense light years ahead of the Drek we are currently putting on tape. & that was facking 30 years ago. We win in spite of our coaching. That’s a hard truth

Win in spite of inaccurate malik you mean and losing our best player, hobbled less than 100% richards all year?.....

The sample size is plenty large enough at this point imo to see the gross deficiencies in our offensive design imo. Our players are consistently put in position to fail by our fundamentally flawed offensive designs.

I hope I’m dead wrong & don’t know what I’m talking about. I hope Pastor Richt was being held back by the myriad of excuses that fans can come up with to justify the offensive abomination we’ve consistently trotted out there the last 2 seasons.

I hope Kosi & Co. light up the night this fall & make the world take notice. I pray the Pastor is repeatedly bathed in sports drank & carried of the field in jubilation time & time again.

I’m just not a blind *** fan. Not saying u are just saying there’s a tendency in every fan base.

I have voiced my opinion that I want To see more creativity on offense too but I also realized how much it is held back from Malik’s shortcomings too as well as missing Walton and Richards. Need to see the offfense at full strength and with a competent qb. Malik in the last 7 games had only 1 game over 54% of his passes completely which is utterly pathetic and you won’t find another team in the top 25 **** ANYWHERE with a stat that bad yet we were still one game from the playoffs

Richt isn't hiring a new OC and Rosier is still in the thick of things to be the starting QB. For an immediate upgrade on offense, we've got to hope that our OL can create running lanes and protect and that one of the young QBs turns out to be a truly exceptional talent.

And if we have Rosier again, Its another Mulligan for Richt as far as playcalling goes? ****!
No. He needs to get a QB in there that can do the job. In year three it's all on him. He needs to somehow make Rosier better, which isn't impossible, but not as likely as one of the other guys just being better.

I don't know how anyone can watch us last year and not see the severe limitations we had at the QB position. It directly effected the play calling. Richt did the best with what he had, which was quite good. I believe the results will be better when he has a better QB in place.

I also have to say, Rosier did better than expected. You don't start 10-0 by being complete garbage. However, by the end his limitations caught up with him, like they almost did several times earlier in the year. My biggest concern is that Rosier will not progress enough, and teams will use the Pitt, Clemson, and Wisconsin blueprints to make Rosier beat them. That concerns me. When a team can make one guy have to step up and beat them, and that guy has an off day, it's a certain loss.

Better QB play will lead to better results, even with Richt calling plays.

Richt has to see what's clogging our offensive engine by now. That responsibility falls squarely on him. We've got a good OL, with the incoming class we've got excellent RB's and WR's.

While our OL is good its not dominating so we can't run it down everyone's throat. With our ridiculously skilled WR corps it would be stupid to waste all that talent running downfield wide open.

There is only one position holding us back from being GREAT offensively and that's QB.

Previously Richt was known as a QB coach...well, this year its time to show it because IMO our defense may not be as good as last year's.

I think He got the most he could out of malik last year who had a decent season but tailed off late. going to be interesting to see what comes up of that battle because it’s holding us back right now. Rosier’s inaccuracy is the biggest thing and his ability to not look down the field when evading pressure. He can’t do that but both N’Kosi and Jarren Williams can do that VERY well

I feel confident in the Offense if Maliek is beaten out by Perry or Williams or Cade. If one of the young kids takes the job we will be more efficient

Richt is who he is. That is not going to change. We could have dropped 60 on ND. Seriously, everything was clicking that night. What did Richt do, call the dogs off leading 34-0....early in the 3rd Quarter. We won 41 - 8. Should have been 62 -8, but we walk with the Lord.

Don't get your hopes up. The next OC will be Jon Richt.

Dabo did the same in the ACC-CG. That could have been 70-0.

you've been proven dead wrong by hurricanevision along with all the other "fire coach MR the OC" people all season long
