RICHT & the OFFENSE for next year

Wasn't MR handcuffed by Kaaya too?

For as bad as Rosier was, he set the all-time TD record at a school with a pretty good QB history. Perhaps the issue isn't as simple as changing a player to two. Perhaps he needs some actual help.

absolutely handcuffed by Kaaya

Imagine what a GOOD QB will do.

Richt's offense will be as open or as limited as the QB he selects to start skills are. The OL is a lot better than previous years, we have a sound ground game. Our problem is getting the QB to look beyond the primary receiver.

Hopefully that changes this year because we're going to be loaded at WR.

But that won't make any difference because if the primary receiver is double or triple covered on a play because that's where Rosier is throwing it come **** or high water

Tell me, how will the best OC in the world make Rosier hit wide open players? It simply doesn't matter what plays are called when your QB can't execute them on a regular basis.

You’re right, Richt is a great OC. That is why our offense regressed this past season during conference play. In addition, he is such a great OC that when he stopped coaching the offense at UGA they scored more points and gained more yards.

Richt is so great, he doesn't need ANY help. That is why he hired zero coaches who can help him on that side and decided to give his son a job. No other individual, especially a coach, could possibly help him since he is a OT VIII Offensive Coordinator.

It is funny that same QB who can't execute a pass on a regular basis set a record for TDs. In the future, when your QB struggles so much, don't make him the focal point of the offense or don't throw it so much.

That may be the case. I wouldn't argue aginst that, I'm just guessing. My thought is, how many years does he get before he's pressured to get an OC like he was at Georgia? I think 3 is enough.

Richt is 58. He's not producing any new innovative offensive schemes at this point. If the offense under performs this year, he'd be smart to realize his window is closing to win a NC and he'll listen to that pressure.

At this point, I think his timeline at Miami is half what is was at Georgia. He got 6 years of play calling at GA, I think he gets 3 at Miami. He got 15 years to get a NC at Georgia, I think he gets 7-8 at Miami.
If it takes 7-8 years that would be a shame

OK Einstein. You got me. Rosier would be a Heisman candidate if Richt would simply hire an OC.

Or hire some help. Good one on Einstein. Very clever.

Or maybe, just maybe, Richt squeezed as much out of Rosier as was humanly possible.

Or maybe his teams score more points and gain more yards when he isn't the OC. You know, like the tremendous amount of data we have from UGA.

Is it possible he needs help?

I'm just waiting for him to fully embrace the fast break. Not that we played slow or anything, but man, I'd love to see a no huddle offense gang raping defenses. We have the personnel to do it. Richt just needs to fully embrace the spread (he's getting there, slowly, but surely).

So wait, he sucks mightily, but he did enough for Rosier to break records, even though Rosier is VERY limited... Which side are you on again?

Not sure where to comment first.

1. It doesn't mean "he sucks mightily". It means that if the QB is able to break records at a school with ________________ (insert great QB here) then perhaps our offense shouldn't score less points and gain less yards than the prior season. Perhaps we shouldn't regress on offense. Also, what happens if Richt names Rosier the starter this year?

2. I repeat my question. After looking at 15 years of data from UGA, why did they score more points and gain more yards after Richt stopped being the OC?

3. Are you on the side that Richt doesn't need ANY help on offense? That no one should question anything?

If we have fans that couldn’t see play calling was handicapped by Rosier... oh wait, we do have those fans. For half the season it looked like half the field was off limits. The second half we saw why, and teams figured it out. If we get good QB play we will score a lot of points.

And if we have Rosier again, Its another Mulligan for Richt as far as playcalling goes? ****!

more worried about the D, we got weapons coming on O.

what is your problem dude? You do not like Richt and is that all you can post?

My posts are clear.

I think Richt could be a good CEO if he realized his flaws and got help. He needs help on offense; which is obviously the biggest issue with the team. Instead we keep keep our nepotism policy and hire Patke. We also need help on STs too. Defense isn’t perfect (far from it) but given the other two real concerns and the way they carried us last year, let’s start there.

I also call it like I see it. Your last post on the issues was atrocious.
