Richt should keep the team in Pittsburgh / Charlotte

You're not wrong about acclimating to weather, but these young men are students and may not be able to break away from school obligations for a full week.

He is though. Cold-->Hot=bad, Hot-->cold=mildly uncomfortable.

And how cold do you imagine Charlotte will be? 50? 45?

We'll be fine, this might be the most physical Miami team I've seen in a decade

the week leading up to the ACC title game.

Find a high school field to practice on for the week.

I wouldn't want them coming back to Miami 80 degree weather.

Their bodies need to adjust to the cold.

Everything is on the line and I don't want weather to effect us at all and we all know it has in the past (champs sports bowl in a 50 degree night game comes to mind). Charlotte will be hovering at 40 at kickoff.

The whole theory of it not mattering what it feels like in this big of a game is BS.
Someone's body used to warm climates will be much much more cold compared to someone who is used to it under any circumstances.

I used to freeze my ******* nuts off when I came back to Nashville for Xmas from school in Miami. Now that I live here full time the weather in Dec isn't so bad.

If we are flying in from a warm weather practice week we will be at a disadvantage unfortunately

This team won't be scared by the cold. You might be, but that's a different story and a personal problem for you

I live in Charlotte and it will be awesome football weather for our Canes. Much better than El Paso.

LOL I'm sure they'll consider your recommendation....:youre_nuts:

In fact, the long term forecasts suggest it will be too cold in Pittsburgh to productively practice. Going to be in the 30's and very windy.

OP sounds like you think this is the NFL..lol

Also you sound soft. Making another excuse thread. It just might not be a blowout, but it's November UVA is up next. Let's get it in

Last Friday in southeastern Ohio, it was freezing for the high school playoff games. Just need to dress for it and have plenty of heaters on the sidelines. That's all you can do. I doubt it will be that cold in NC, but for Pitt, just hope for a sunny day.

Back in the Big East, we used to have to close out seasons every other year up in Boston, and most of the time it was cold. It didn't seem to bother those teams much. I am glad Pitt is at noon, though.
