Y’all think Richt walked away from around $20mm with no demands whatsoever ? It’s a cute story but that’s not how the real world works. Blake James is a moron but he’s not this dumb. Not suggesting Manny can’t succeed but hiring a guy with no HC experience less within 12 hours of the job opening up? Again, not how things work.

I have no doubt Richt walked with the understanding that Manny gets the gig and some of his other guys are taken care of...the question is — who else?

Has Jon been fired yet? That is the bread crumbs. If he stays in any capacity, it was a set up from the beginning. Urban is the only HC you snatch up that fast. Certainly not some dude who just took less money to coach Al Golden’s old school.

This guy posted this same drivel around 1am this morning under a different name. Signed up just to do it. Did you forget that you already did that? Oh and pretty sure all the guys you said would stay have been fired already. So WTF are you talking about.
 
Yep. The whole Temple thing was just to throw the crack porsters on CiS off the scent. Totally worth the $4 mil we paid them.

Blake James publically broke with Richt after the 35-3 debacle and told him that substantial changes on the offensive side of the ball must take place. This is exactly what went down at UGA. The terminations came as no surprise as Richt let the offensive staff know what was likely going down. He chose to retire instead of terminate his staff.
