I was uneasy but it seems at UGA he had some bad timing with injuries and some player suspensions. He put 79 players into the NFL including Justin Houston, Todd Gurley, and AJ Green. Also, always have a great QB.

I thought the same initially, but this is such a home run hire from what we're used to its stupid. It's very clear this university wants to compete again and has chosen to recognize the preexisting legacy. Richt is walking into a far easier conference in a cupcake division. Im pumped.

Lots of good coaches haven't. **** greg schiano and Lane kiffin got into the NFL

Who knows maybe NFL teams did reach out to his agent he could have just declined. Not all of the coaching carousel is made public

Haven't you seen the board the last month. There are only 10 separate threads per page each on BBB, coaching search, if this coach comes who's his coordinators, etc..... It has made this board very frustrating to read at times.
