Gonna be on soon. Let's see what he says.

"We've got a very talented team in front of your head -- I'm sorry -- I mean in front of us. FAMU isn't going to worry about App State, and neither are we. So. I'd have liked to seen you with hair, Scott."

lol he referred to Golden as " The last guy" when talking about who signed Kaaya. Love this guy.

Talking about Grace and AQM's departure. " It's tough, first of all they're teamates and friends of out team. And they paid the price as well to have the opportunity to play. It's tough, and there will be guys that will play in. We're thin at some spots", then goes on to talk about starting freshman linebackers...

Talks about wanting to play physical, refers to it as " the type of ball that Miami plays"

"we're probably gonna start three true freshman linebackers"

looks like Pinckney is winning out that last spot

Said we're thin at some positions and that can be dangerous going into the season but we say that in here and get bashed and slandered lol

TL;DR :

1. Talks about changing programs after 15 years, getting used to our colors. Very casual.

2.Talks about how nice it is as a new coach to walk into a situation with a guy like Kaaya as your QB. Gives props to " the last guy" for signing him. Talks about how he's especially happy because he's the QB coach too.

3. Briefly touches on Grace and AQM's departure. Says that the team needs that next man up mentality and we'll probably be the only team in the country starting 3 true freshman LBs.

4. Coach speak, excited for season type stuff...

It's refreshing to have such a credible being at the helm of my beloved team. He didn't say anything that we didn't know, but just him, there was comforting, knowing a guy with his resume and coaching acumen is at the helm, makes me feel very, very hopeful.

Very welcome after the last 15 years.

this 100%. What he said is mostly coach speak, but just knowing who he is makes me comfortable that this coach speak might actually be legit. In other news, Hows Carter? Haven't been on these boards in a while.

Brometheus, he's doing good. Some funny stories here and there about him, some not so good too. Mostly fine though. We should be down for FSU, so if you're there, you'll be able to meet him. PM me anything else you'd like to know.
