Per #UGA source, Mark Richt is heading into team meeting now and will tell players he will NOT coach in Bulldogs bowl game

There was no way in **** he was coaching at UGA a second after UM hired him. We'll be competing for the same recruits.
 
He isn't down here yet. Al had gone to the mattress in his office by now!!!! Sorry, I could not resist.

He does need to get to moving and no missionary stuff this year. He can peace all over the tri-county. Plenty of sinners here. Butch would have had 8 1st round picks already -- again sorry, dang this is going to be hard to stop. Come on Mark. You are not a dog anymore. Those smucks fired your corn-bred sunshine raised ***. This is part of the process...he accepts job, does the respectable thing and tells his former players in person, is introduced next day as the New HC at Miami, then proceeds to take over South Florida

Richt COULD coach the bowl game.

Brian Kelly won 2 bowl games in 2006, winning with the Central Michigan team he left and the Cincinnati team he was taking over.

Cincinnati played a Western Michigan team Kelly had already beaten during the season at Central Michigan.
 
You don't coach a team that's letting you go..it's different if you take another job, and want to finish what you started.
