Can we please for the love of god actually run read options. Read the **** D End, if he crashes hold it, if not hand it off. I learned that **** when I was 8. Why is everything always predetermined. Not once did he call a play where Perry can showcase his running ability. I guess one can hope.

If this is what you want, Perry ain't the guy. Worst runner on the team.

What did Perry do to you to deserve being concussed? You clearly want Perry killed.

Again read the OP and if you could please tell me when Richt has called a true option like he did for Rosier against BC, then we could hold judgement. Fair?

Rosier is the worst runner on the team. His only success outside of BC was a QB draw. Rosier is better built for that, Perry is suited for the option to get to the outside. There’s a reason he was the number 3 rated duel threat coming out of high school.

If we are going to run that play you have to make the DE respect the QB. If we are going to pre-determine the play then it's pointless.

From what we've all seen, does he really strike you as a duel threat QB? He's a pocket passer and honestly IMO he's only considered a dual threat because of the color of his skin if we're being honest. Dual threat is Lamar Jackson... as a D coordinator I would not be "threatened" by Perry's running ability.

Have you watched his HS tape? Every play his line broke down within seconds and he had to scramble before throwing the ball.

He can run but it seems he is not an instinctive runner. He really is more of a mobile qb than running qb. But he could be serviceable running the rpo. He just doesn't seem to be a natural for it. Another issue also seems his processing skills are a bit too slow which would hamper his success to read and react making the right decisions to run or handoff.

How would you know this?
Because I watch the games..and he’s nearly gotten decapitated while running a couple times. He’s mobile and athletic. But not a “runner”. I remember some made comparisons to Lamar Jackson when he was coming out of HS. Either ppl like you don’t watch the games, think dual threat means automatically a good design run guy, or ca t see what’s obviously in front of the to see.. he is a Mobile kid don’t get me wrong. And u can run him if u think your gonna get a cheating defender. But you don’t design your run game around him

I think it's the right call but let's face it...nothing he does from here on out will satisfy some of you since wrong or right you have written the guy off already.

He also is a fumbler. He also is a scarecrow and fragile. You run him and Rosier comes in to replace an injured Perry.
I think ppl see “dual threat” and automatically think a kid can “run the ball”. Imo there should be 3 category for QBs:
pocket passer(Rosen kaaya)
Mobile (Deshaun Watson/ russel Wilson)
Dual threat( cam/ Lamar)

I’d put a kid like Perry under mobile
