Richt is a master salesman and will not allow any negativity! He slaughtered this interview.

Only a matter of time once we start wining again soon, the IPF and stadium renovations are complete that Sun Life could in fact be a positive recruiting factor rather than a negative (although it will unfortunately never be on campus). I'm eager to see how much the roof positively impacts the loudness and home field advantage.

Personally (and I'm sure most will agree) the main reason people didnt show up to games is because Sun Life Stadium was hot as **** before they put a roof in. Now its set to be around 10+ degrees cooler and im sure fans will be more willing to go to more games because of it. Other than the heat problem Sun Life Stadium isnt too bad of a stadium, and if people start talking about "**** Sun Life! We need an on campus stadium! blah blah blah" then they clearly have never been to the university or are just REALLY dumb

Those early games in September make you feel like you're in an oven.

just about every game was like that because its always hot af in florida haha. Good news is that Tom (Dolphins CEO) said that at one point ,before they completely put the cover on, it was a 20 degree difference from outside to under the roof

The main reason was because we were losing.

I know that and because people hated Golden but even if our team was good most "fans" wouldnt show up to games because they couldnt take the heat

I am sure if you gave everyone a choice of an On Campus Stadium vs a State of The Art Stadium with a Canopy, hands down the canopy would be the choice! So hopefully our stadium now can be a selling point for recruits as an advantage over other schools!!

Who was the tool that asked the question? I hope Vilma took him out back an whipped his *** afterward. Richt did come close to saying you don't know what you're talking about. I think he's gonna blow some teams out this year to make a point. Don't think he likes the disrespect being thrown at his alma mater.

Go Canes!

you would think... but there are some idiots on this site lol

I don't care much about the stadium issue. I was sad when the OB was abandoned but that's the past now.

The stadium has been a sad excuse for way too long. Quit ****img crying about it. We now have a state of the art stadium with a canopy. Let's put that one to bed. Winning games is all that matters and we have a ton of optimism right now. Let's ride this wave of momentum and stfu about the stadium bc quite frankly I think its going to be one of the best atmospheres in college if we can get at least 50k per game.

The excitement of the Richt Era, Brad Kaaya, attacking D and a new stadium will get people out early. If we string together some wins we will be playing in packed crowds all year.

Let's go!!!

lol...just too perfect a set up

Bunch of dumb fäggots got on this stadium shït as some sort of excuse for our program's downfall. Ain't got a fücking thing to do with the stadium. Folden spread that nonsense as one of the million excuses for his incredible failure at UM. It wasn't his fault; it was the stadium's fault.

Now the media dïckmouths like Cotter want to continue bang that stadium drum as a negative because they know that's the one thing no one can change. That's a purported negative variable that will remain in place, so these anti-UM maggots want to keep emphasizing it.

Richt will start winning games, and we'll start drawing fans just like we did when we were winning at the OB. And we'll be playing a state of the art stadium that players will love to play in.
