this is my main concern with him, i hear this all the time. However, i dont know how fair this is because his teams never look soft. it seems by all accounts he is as competitive as he is religious.How u guys feel about this?

Show me one parent who says they want their kid to go play for this dude because he is a total d bag.

All his **** players love the guy , team of savages down to run thru walls for their coach > your coach making a fool of himself on the sideline locker room screaming at players like muschamp.

The football chick comments never cease. It's really like our fans think you can only evaluate a coach based on his personality. Forget about actual coaching ability and production.

If he was too nice he wouldn't have accepted our job 3 seconds after he was let go and he certainly wouldn't have made those statements about being open to bringing Georgia recruits here.

Pete Carroll treated USC practices like an espide of the Ali G show. I'm actually surprised he got away with it--if somebody tried the fake suicide thing like he did now, you might end up getting ran off campus.


Many of our fans would have been performing some lame-*** psychoanalysis and questioning his coaching ability.

my point was I've heard this over and over. i never knew he was born again and didnt care. his teams at Georgia looked 10 times tougher than ours. he also was on the radio and said "old school cane defense" "beasts" etc. doesnt sound it to me. at the press conference he basically said he is taking who he wants from UGA class. i wanted butch but I'm not disappointed by this at all. he seems to want to prove UGA wrong.

This. My in laws are all UK fans. Ask Kentucky fans if Pastor Richt has ever shown them mercy.

My side is mostly SC fans. Whenever he had the opportunity to run score up he did. Hung 52 on them this year.

Richt is the southern savage we have been missing.

because he checks every box. i just dont really see his weak areas except maybe needing to hire a top DC.
