Richt was forced to make changes at Georgia which eventually lead to his demise. Yes he made changes but the fact he had to be asked/forced whatever you want to believe is enough to say he isn’t suited for this. I don’t think Blake has the balls to force anything. Richt was hired on the condition he call plays and his son is on the staff. Nothing will change. So in other words, it’s either stick with Richt as HC/OC or make a change. That’s reality.

Richt busted out with Perry. It happens all the time. Give him a QB and we will roll.

Perry is another overrated Florida recruit who doesn't have it between the ears. But he young doe!!!
 
Someone close to him, a long and dear friend, needs to have a heart-to-heart with him. Richt can be the hero who brought back the swag, or the stubborn old-timer whose ego made him fail. He clearly understands Cane mystique; he had to ok the Chains, the re-integration of former Canes into the facility, the emphasis on South Florida recruiting, watching as the team went across the field to protect JT in front of the UVA bench. He just isn't up to the task of being the OC and play caller. It's ok to just be the HC who directs the various pieces on the chess board. Someone has to reassure him that no one will think less of him for bringing in an offensive-minded assistant coach as OC. Just like the players, he has to check his ego at the door. Please, someone who cares for him or who cares for UM football, please talk to him. I believe he can be a successful HC at UM, but not as a combo HC/OC.

I didn't watch the game, but off the top of my head vs BC did perry play?

gatorhater can fill you in as he's the one that brought my attention to it before

I haven't paid any attention to miami football since they the start of the 2nd half vs virginia so my memory escapes me.

It's not just the QB situation and Richts failure at playcalling.

3 years of grade F special teams and
3 years of terrible OL play, (getting worse each season)

Consistently showing up woefully flat and unprepared. You can count the exceptions since 2016 on one hand.

Terrible game decisions leading to multiple losses each year.

Recruiting failures (batting .000 on QBs since day one, whiffing on local elites,

****, he's actually been very fortunate, winning about 8 games the last two years where we were outcoached and outplayed.

So are we going to do this with every position group? Give him Brady. Give him our oline from 2001 or 2014. Give him Andre Johnson at WR. Shocked at TE. Sapp at DT. Vilma or Lewis at LB. Reed at safety.

You don’t get it. You are saying he needs the best at every position for him to succeed and if you follow recruiting, it will never happen. And even if he has the best, like he did at Georgia, he will still fail. He doesn’t maximize his talent, he flat out sucks as a coach, nonother other way around it. Ever since Saban has been at Bama, Richts record is a clown show.
