Richt Hire Revisited...

Every option being mentioned at the time aside from Richt would’ve been a program killing hire.... maybe Butch but I don’t think he was seriously in consideration.

I liked Richt and still do. He recruits better than our past few coaches, and seems to keep the program out of trouble. But I think he will never be a great coach due to his unwillingness to delegate. There is no structure on his offensive staff, just yes men to him. He badly needed to hire an oc and move the son to the video room but there is little to zero chance he would do that at this point in his career. Realistically his goals are not cohesive with the action required for him to make this work for any extended period of time.

Go tell that to the guys on the Texas boards. They are talking about flying a banner to get rid of him.

If your team got beat by a program like Maryland's under their current circumstances, what do you think those fans are feeling. Hookem Horns!

Mike Leach and pray he hired a real DC. The talent he is stuck with at Washington state is abysmal

Have never been high on Mullen and that remains. Was on the BBB train the entire time but will admit I would of been stoked if we got Herman but never thought he had interest.

Richt = first coastal win and 10 wins in forever in year two. And people ready to bail.

Jesus, I don't know who's worse, millenials or 50-year old high school heroes dreaming about the glory days.

Richt himself wasn't a bad head coach hire.

A generally inexperienced staff and Richt the OC is proving to be a bad hire.

Not being able to bring over Bryan McClendon as well as Sherrer, Lilly, and Rocker and replacing that core with young guys and Kuligowski has not been great so far.
