manny diaz was a good hire . his defenses at miss state have been very good. he isn't working with alot of 5 star talent either. its most like 3 star talent. texas was a 1 yr thing. he 1st year there there d was excellent.

there were some issues with mac browns recruits late in his tenure. weather it was they felt entitled or what texas was never the same after colt mcoy graduated. thats not on

diaz is a well respected dc in coaching circles and by most experts. with good reason also. good hire. the whiners are those that wanted aranda and feel miami settled when i feel diaz was his top choice from day 1.
