Not matter how chalk it up, the play calling in itself is remedial. Richt runs a script of about 8 plays that he runs throughout the ENTIRE game.
He has no feel for the game and it shows especially when he has to coach inside the 10. This is two years in a row of bad play calling but y'all love the excuse of "not having his quarterback." When was Richt's last high caliber quarter back in an offense that he ran? He needs to stop being stubborn and hire an offensive coordinator that can coach quarterbacks.

BECAUSE HE CAN'T RUN ANYTHING HE WANTS SINCE HE HAS A HORRIBLE EXCUSE OF A QB MANNING THE HELM THAT CAN'T MAKE A GOD **** THROW TO SAVE HIS LIFE

I can't imagine this offense will look the same with a competent quarterback running the show. There are clearly things that were there that Rosier could get done, and I'm giving Richt the benefit of the doubt that there's more we just didn't see because of his limitations.

Yes, we all watched this poor excuse for a QB struggle to hit open receivers all season...but it's not mutually exclusive. Both the play-calling and QB can suck balls simultaneously, and they typically do.

Could someone who understands offensive concepts explain the rational to run on 2nd and long almost exclusively? It’s a terrible percentage play, yet it’s continually run with this team and typically in to the middle. Is it hoping to get in 3rd and manageable? Is it a missread on the rpo? What is it?

This is by far the biggest indicator to me of a disjointed and unimagibatuve offense.

Rosier is average at best. Some play calling has been bad. It was worse last year however Rosier ain't the guy. Can't blame Richt for that

richt needs matt stafford to run a competent offense...thats all u needs to know its on.......HIM.

He aint had his qb last year, didnt have his qb this year...**** he aint have HIS qb the last 4 yrs at UGA. When are people gonna realize charlie ward aint walking thru that door?

Rumor has it that Butch is hotwired into Richt's headset, calling plays. Personally, I don't believe it, or Richt isn't listening.

Richt did have matt Stafford and several other first round draft picks. And still couldn't win the big game with them. The wrecked play calling running into the middle of a giant front 4, instead of attacking them with your speed is what killed your defense. They played 40 of 60 minutes and were exhausted due to going 3 and out in 2 minutes.

Let's see how he does at play calling next year with another QB starting. The play calling was suspect not one doubt, I don't believe he was calling plays in the last few years at GA I could be wrong though.

You are correct. He did not call plays for most of his years at UGA.

Richt’s playcalling is so far down the list of things to be concerned about tonight. His main problem is that he goes for it all too often so we lose second down, but there were a ton of plays to be made by the O tonight. And we turned it over time and time again.

Those saying its just Rosier, have you seen him play, etc. Rosier isn't perfect, but at a bare minimum, 90 percent of the OC'ers in this country would get more out of him.

Just wait, you'll catch on eventually.
