I dont care that we played against SSU.

Some take aways:

-Amari Carter needs to be on the field at all times. Thats a throwback cane right there.
-JT Need 15+touches a game and needs to be the Primary PR
-Beating a dead horse but Knowles should have his #20 revoked and he should be on the pine at all times. He has a mental lapse every game
-All 3 LBs need to be put on notice. Shaq is a Manny clone.. he can talk with the best but his play is mediocre. McCloud is a ghost. Pinkneys play is laughable at this point. All still dont know how to tackle. Mike Smith never needs to see the field. Patke needs the pink slip at seasons end.
-Mahoney, Jones should get real comfortable on the pine. Starting OL needs to be StL,Reed, Guathier, Donaldson,Scaife. Donaldson is fat, lazy, and out of position. He has no buisness playing tackle. Searls needs to given a pink slip at seasons end.
-Hard to guage anything from QB play, but you can tell Jarren just looks different. Carries himself different.

above all ....let the young dogs play. They are clearly better.

Fck.

"Carries himself different"?
The young guys are clearly better? Because they played well against a really tired HS team?
Yeuuup, that’s our fanbase bruh..If malik had stayed in for 3 quarters and lit it up “its ******* Savannah st” but when the results fit the narrative...they “ carry themselves different”

i know i'll get killed for this BUT Jennings and Steed have a better nose for the ball their pickney and mccloud.
Pickney is so inconsistent. he can make a great play then make just as bad a play. hes not as good as he thinks he is.

Bruh you must of started watching UM football yesterday. Jarren looks like an actual QB even though he only threw a few passes. The last time we had a good qb was Dorsey.

1) Amari Carter can be a throwback Cane but is a bit of a "Manny Clone" himself, hits hard and aggressive but can give up plays from time to time. Still a capable starter and a good one.
2) Yep, Thomas is elite. But he's not the only elite skill talent this team has. I do believe he has the highest ceiling.
3) I'm not gonna talk about Knowles or any other kid on an anonymous board like this is I have to say what I'm thinking...
4) I think our LB depth has improved, even with few new bodies since the "Bermuda triangle" broke out. This is credit to the development of our underclassman (Jennings Jr, Cater even if more of a safety, hopefully Wilder and Steed too along with the striker position). So the pressure is on the incumbent linebackers if they were to struggle.
5) The o-line does HAVE to improve. Maybe we should look at shaking up the starting 5, but that forces the unit back to square one when for all we know they may be about ready to gel as is. Still, I'm unimpressed with Searls and believe that he's a downgrade from Kehoe.
6) The backup QBs are who they are. Backups. All have higher ceilings than Rosier but won't pass him anytime soon barring injury.

You wont get killed. Everyone sees what you see. Shaq is playing sub par as well

maybe it's just me but Jennings seems to be in on alot of tackles when on the field.

side note, Carter & Hall might kill someone when they are starting side by side.

Nope been watching faithfully since 2000 (24 yrs old)...Last time we had a good QB was Brad..just came under wrong circumstances as far as the program. But yea Jarren was 1-3 and looked great handing the ball off. He definitely looks the part..best looking guy I’ve seen here since Kyle Wright..oops😬

What tf does how the guy looks have to do with anything?

Bruh.

He is. Going to have to earn the trust back though. He was in on the LSU 50 yard TD run. He was way out of position on that play.

You don’t know football. It is better to look stupid and say nothing, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

LB’s didn’t play up to snuff, they just shoot gaps and don’t keep their gap integrity. JT is the real deal he needs to get as many touches as possible, all he does is deliver. Look at the one TD throw that Rosier threw him finally in stride. Amazing isn’t it to see him be able to run in full stride without having to stop or make a circus catch? Of the QB’s only Williams looks the part to me, not sure what is up with Perry other than maybe not enough live action? He stared down the WR on the pick he threw after we just picked up a turnover the play before. That’s a young QB type of play who isn’t yet adjusted to the speed of the game. Weldon was ok; nothing great to write home about in this game. All in all I thought the team played much better than last Sunday but that’s not saying much considering the competition. Let’s keep playing the QB’s and find out a clear #1 at the position before the UNC game, then call out the starter then. I hope Richt doesn’t think he’s solved that dilemma just by evaluating this game.
