Richt and 4th down

2004 FBS (I-A) College Football Team Statistics Leaders for Downs - ESPN

The last 3 years at UGA Richt not calling plays (2013-2015)
2015- 5 for 12/ 41.7%
2014- 12 for 15/ 80%
2013- 13 for 22/ 59.1%

The last 3 years Richt actually called plays at UGA (2004-2006)
2006- 9 for 14/ 64.3%
2005- 7 for 12/ 58.3%
2004- 10 for 14/ 71.4%

The numbers seem pretty conservative when he actually called plays, but I don't know the circumstances or the down and distances that he chose to not go for it. Then, seemed to be a little more lenient in 2013 and 2014, although he wasn't calling plays, the HC still decides whether to go for it or not. 15 and 22 attempts is a good amount (with Gurley and Aaron Murray) then obviously 12 last season (Chubb got hurt and had a terrible QB situation) is understandable.

Eunuch OP with a total clown post.

Saying that Richt has no balls for not going for it on fourth down, when he's facing the best team in the country, and with his depleted backfield talent...well it doesn't get any more retarded than that.
