Richards

He has his in-home visit with Saban last night. Here's hoping Saban wins and dips out to the NFL.

I was thinking he might go to Colts, but then again, that owner is a fruit loop. Not sure satan would go for it. Clearly it will need to be a team with a good QB. Nick's not making that mistake again. If he leaves, the west coast of Florida might flood from the tears of Alabama flowing out of Mobile Bay into the Gulf.

I would love it. fineb!tch would die of a broken heart

Can anyone talk about what they've seen from Richards in camps?

His highlights have some of the laziest routes I've seen in a while. He looks like he's legit jogging off the line and through his route. Ha.

Reminds me of how TY Hilton would play at Miami Springs lol. Never saw a half speed player make so many plays.

What are Richards' numbers? I saw 6' 1" 170 4.68, but someone is probably able to provide better ones or context.

WR Ahmmon Richards (2016), 6-1, 165, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Wellington
Results: 4.68 40, 4.66 SH, 36.0’ PB, 37.4” VJ, 85.11 SPARQ

Those were his numbers during the spring of his sophomore season at the SPARQ camp at NMB.

I couldn't find any numbers from this past year, so he probably didn't go to a combine. There were also no legit track times or a profile on FL runners or US milesplit, which are the sites that only post times that are recorded with lasers.

Here's a few other recruits that are known for their speed that attended that same combine:

RB Amir Rasul (2016), 5-11, 194, Miami (Fla.) Columbus
Results: 4.52 40, 4.50 SH, 34.0” VJ, 31.3” VJ, 89.10 SPARQ
Breakdown: Rasul ran a combine best 40’ time, now its time for the young back to show that speed on the field next year.

RB Carlin Fils-Aime, 5-10 ½, 175, Naples (Fla.)
Results: 4.83 40, 4.37 SH, 31.0’ PB, 40.8” VJ, 87.36 SPARQ
Breakdown: Rushed for 887 yards and 13 touchdowns, leading to an offer from Miami. The shifty back had the combine’s best vertical jump.

RB Robert Burns (2017), 5-10, 207, Miami (Fla.) Gulliver
Results: 4.67 40, 4.63 SH, 39.0’ PB, 36.5” VJ, 99.69
Breakdown: Burns is on his way to becoming a nationally recognized name with offers already in hand from Ohio State, Cincinnati and West Virginia.

DB Tyler Bryd (2016), 5-11 ½, 194, Naples (Fla.)
Results: 4.61 40, 4.59 SH, 38.0” PB, 38.8” VJ, 102.54 SPARQ
Breakdown: The future Florida Gator was named a Student Sports 2013 2nd Team Sophomore All-American. Had day’s top Rating

Miami Nike Combine l All-Combine Team

I think it's the most likely destination with him being committed before followed by us getting a very good new HC who knows how to run an offense....

We're going to have a really solid WR class - and we need it because our numbers are low...

Fwiw Bakas is saying he is hearing Richards expected back to this class (Miami).

My friend who is a huge Bama fan said he hasn't really heard anything about Richards and Bama. He follows Bama recruiting pretty closely so I'm going to assume we are still in a good spot here.

I'll be completely shocked if Richt can't win this battle for a local guy who was sold on UM a few weeks ago. Proven new HC, who Richards was very complimentary of, should be able to make a bunch of power moves.

Richards ends up here IMO

He knows he will have MAJOR burn next year and maybe even start if Coley leaves. I truly think we pull him once the dust settles.
