Richards is pedestrian. Struggles to separate against tight coverage, doesn't fight for the ball, can't be trusted during 50/50 balls.
Early in the game he had a chance to go up and make a big play and he waited for the ball to land in his hands instead of fighting for it.
The scout assessment of him that I saw was spot-on. He only excels versus off coverage. Get in his face and he's done.
Dog when he ran that first TD no one sat next to himPretty sure Brooklyndee posted on the gameday board that Richards was sidelined because he went off on Rosier early in the game and/or at halftime. Supposedly, other players were getting on Rosier, too. TIFWIW.
The play Hightower made that play for his td and that is what I expect from Ahmmon.Richards is pedestrian. Struggles to separate against tight coverage, doesn't fight for the ball, can't be trusted during 50/50 balls.

I said the same thing. AR should have went up and got that ball instead of waiting on it to come down. The DB never even saw the ball until it hit him in the facemaskRichards is pedestrian. I agree that AR needed to go up for the ball, but didnt that play look like PI to anyone else?I said the same thing. AR should have went up and got that ball instead of waiting on it to come down. The DB never even saw the ball until it hit him in the facemask
We might would have got the call if AR showed some fight for the ball and worked through the contactI agree that AR needed to go up for the ball, but didnt that play look like PI to anyone else?
Thank you for this.
He wasn't on the sideline because he was hurtHe was awesome his fresh year. I don't know what happened to him. But if he cannot find a way to stay healthy he ain't getting drafted.
Outside of Thomas, LSU did a good job at covering our receivers. Cager, Richards, Ingram, were rarely open. Everything was contested. I don’t know if it’s the play calling or our routes.
If we throw under deep pass into double coverage....
You forgot about Jordan. He was consistently open, but Rosier couldn't seem to get the ball within 10 feet of him.
Dude people were running open everywhere , brevin stayed open in the third qt.
exactlywhat isaw as well.Being at the game the receivers were open all night, Rosiers gotta go. Scrambled when he didn’t have to and every pass floated, no zip or accuracy. OLine held up ok, not dominant but did a decent job. On defense Dean got worked all night, and interior dline got smacked around early
