Richards out; Jaquan Game-time Decision

Someone would take a flyer on him in the 7th. But if you're a 1st round talent, you're not leaving early to be a day 3 pick.

He’b be very late , 6th or 7th round at best. Nothing worse than being unavailable. They’ll take knuckleheads before that.

People thinking he’s a guarantee to get drafted st this point are smoking crack. It’s far from a guarantee. The dude doesn’t play, ever. This isn’t some new issue.

Yup. If you know the NFL like I know the NFL, you're better off being an off the field case than someone who was consistently injured. At least being an off the field issue, GM's are just praying you make the right decisions. If you're constantly injured, you're going to be unavailable.

Does anyone recall if IR82 had durability issues in high school? Or is this a new found trait he acquired in Coral Gables?

Exactly , you can knock a chick out and still go top three rounds if you’re talented. They only care about availability, once you get that injury prone label in the draft they don’t want ya. They might waste a late 6-7th rounder on ya but you’re entering the udfa zone.

If scouts had issues with him early last year, just imagine now.

every week he misses, the more money he loses. That's the unfortunate reality. The NFL values durability

I know I shouldn't be feeling this way, but IM so over AR82 already. The emergence of JT4, Cager, Jordan, etc. has softened the blow. I can't remember the last time i saw Ahmmon dominate a game. Been so long it seems. I know we are definitely better with him, but dude can't sniff the field.

You are only as good as your availability. This may force his hand in coming back another year. Why risk getting picked that low?

I'm not going to knock Richards. He's not being lazy, team cancer, etc.. It's just frustrating because Richards is arguably the best receiver we've had come through Coral Gables since Andre Johnson, yet he's consistently injured. As Miami fans, we're being robbed by poor luck.

Yep and it’s best for him to return to school next year. He’s absolutely a first-second round talent and I dont Want to see him get drafted low due to his injury history being thoroughly inspected by these teams like it would if he came out this year early

His injury history is going to be a question regardless now.
