Richards is a straight up stud

I almost forgot, as much as I love Richards upside, Moss is on a completely different level. Others have already sung his praises, but he would've been a top receiver in the NFL straight out of high school. Most talented receiver and hardest to try and stop ever IMO. The only thing that could stop Randy was Randy himself.

It's good to know that Kaaya hasn't been afraid to go back to him even though he's dropped a pass in each game so far. Obviously, you'd like to see that cleaned up but he's already shown major big play ability.

Are you guys seriously trying to compare a freshman WR two games into his career with legitimate Pro bowl talent because he went off in one game??

Nope but can compare their traits and who they remind you of and or could play similar to. In this case Richards is an ultra talented player, you could argue that he was the best player to come out of south Florida since Dalvin cook talent wise if you go by his production and play making ability

my dad was watching and was surprised...said "hes a true freshman?"... Dude reminds me of Stacy Coley in his stride and big play ability..but he may be more faster with deep speed..which is a good thing.

I get the feeling AR15 will be better and more consistent. Saban wanted him for a reason. Although Coley is blocking like a fullback downfield this year.

Brock, you missed the Louisville QB and obviously forgot about Ridley as well. Love Richards, but let's not build him up so high that he has nowhere but down to go.

Kid is very good, needs a yr in the weight room. Can't wait to see what Mullins can do as well.

reminds me of randy moss in his freshman Year at Marshall, threat to score every time he Touches the ball

Interesting stylistic comparison, because that's kinda who he reminds me of when it comes to stride and body type. He separated so easily.

Moss had RIDICULOUS hands and RIDICULOUS hops though. Richards is also gonna get top notch coaching and he seems to have an excellent attitude and seems to be a fiery competitor which is not something I can say for Moss

Had to comment before somebody flamed you for making a comparison to Moss. You're not saying he's Randy, you're just saying that aesthetically it's similar, and that aesthetic comparison is pretty accurate.

Aren't you the same guy who said that "aesthetically" Joe Yearby looked like Willis McGahee lmao

Ridley had only 1045 yards on 85 catches( 11.7 a catch) which is pretty bad for a receiver. Just to jog your mermory Phillip dorsett had 36 catches for 843 yards. Imagine what type of numbers he would have put up with that many opportunities. Plus Ritchards is an 18 year old kid as a freshman, vs Ridley who was 21 last year in his freshman year...

PS

He needs to clean up those/that drop(s)

He dropped ONE PASS.

Don't be a hater

It's like there's some kind of contest to see who can be the most legit by criticizing the smallest ****.

To be fair, he did drop a pass. This came against a cup cake. There is no doubt he should have caught it. Not sure what the deal is in soft feelings from some here.

Not sure what the deal is in nit picking from some here. Line was -4, team won by 35 and people want to be all about that dropped pass. No soft feelings, I just don't get why people love to be the guy who points out the minor flaw so much. As I said, it's like there's a prize for the least important complaint.

If you doubt that, I'd point you toward the thread about how poorly the jerseys are made. We've been average for over a decade and some guy has found a solution. It's better quality jerseys. Well done captain.

I hear ya. I simply said he needs to clean up his drop(s). Im not exactly sure why some folks think that is some sort of damning indictment on Richards. Is it a criticism? Yes. Is it some huge deal? No, not to me. What is it about saying, kid needs to clean up drops that is outrageous? I don't recall which backer it was, but an App player came free across the middle on a drag and our backer was late to him. Ball was over thrown. Id say that backer needs to do better in coverage. Not sure what is so offensive?

Not offended at all. Perhaps I shouldn't have directed my comment at you in particular, it's more the sum total of many, many small complaints being annoying than your comment in particular. Should he start catching all the balls? Yes. I just don't think it's worth worrying about at this point.

Fair enough . . . don't tell anyone, but I actually think Richards is developing into a stud as well. Im hoping he continues to develop along with a healthy Coley to terrorize defenses!

WTF is going on in this thread!!! AR15 is no better than Coley was as a freshman. We all thought he would be gone in 3 years too. Remember that Pittsburgh game???

STFU w/ the Moss comparisons. That dude was physically the GOAT. He put Culpepper on the cover of Madden. He gave Tom Brady his greatest year. Also, he was better than Rice in his prime. So, just, don't......

Just because I like to argue, Jerry Rice is the GOAT.

Ten best receivers of all time | NFL.com

In fact..."During his first six years in the league, he posted more than 8,000 receiving yards and 77 touchdowns! That's Jerry Rice-level production.". Indeed.

Ahmmon Richards impressed me each game. You can tell he's a freshman tho. His helmet looks too big, he's always adjusting it.

Ridley looks aggressive than Richards. Coley was more elusive than Richards.
