Immediately when I saw the 77 yard Richards touchdown on the sideline against Virginia, I was reminded of the Michael Irvin catch against FSU in 1987 (I believe). These two catches are eerily similar and I believe it is a prophetic event, an omen of many good things to come. Richards and the Bermuda Triangle II (and others) are the foundation of the next legitimate run for the program. See the two catches below.

Actually they are nothing alike in terms of the route run and the significance of the game.

OP I agree that AR (Fearless) is on his way to having a great career at UM and beyond. Easily the best receiver we've had in a long time. He is the best freshman receiver in the nation. He has a chance to reach 1,000 yards this season. He needs 151 yards with two games to go.

Any chance he could return punts or kickoffs? It hasn't been a huge issue this year, but Braxton doesn't do ****. Maybe Richards isn't the right guy. Just a thought.
