No. Lashlee may not be great, but he’s nowhere near as bad as Enos. And I will maintain this position unless/until we are shut out by a team this year that is the equivalent of LaTech

WR's, they leave a lot to be desired. Harley having one fantastic game doesn't erase all the spotty or bad games he has. Who else really?

OL, was putrid last year. They aren't anything better than average and that is probably being kind. Clemson showed how to wreck what we try to do, and defenses literally wait to see if King keeps it or hands it off, then the LB'ers play downfield.

TE's they are good. We still miss having two we can trust though with Brevin out.

RB, they're asked to do a lot when we play into the teeth of the defense with the OL being what it is. Watch other teams, how their guys pull, wall off, and block compared to us. Night and day. The rotations are weird and part of running the ball is getting into a rhythm. Hard to do that and again, the OL.

WR, not going to get into it, I'm tired. More production here helps the running game, pass protection, etc.

King, makes some poor choices in the RPO game, but it's all a wash since if we didn't have his leg talent, we would be screwed. It's a blessing and a curse, the LB'ers are sitting there waiting to see what he does and that in turn hurts our running game. Guy is asked to do a lot and needs help from his receivers.

Talent, we aren't there yet. Makes Lashlee's job tough and considering the sum of all the parts, I'm not sure what would work. OL and WR are where we need the most help.

We really aren't a very good football team. It's "progress" from last year's fiasco. But given that 2019 was probably Miami's worst season since the 1970s, who really cares.
 
Stop making excuses for Lashlee. If you get 1 million a year, you should be able to pick the best 11 players and put them in position to succeed. Dude calls 40 inside zone runs per game to have a "balanced attack" instead of just calling plays that work against your opponents weaknesses.

Where are the off tackle runs?

Options?

Pitches?

Sweeps?

Counters?

He called a QB throwback with ONE receiver down the field yesterday. Dude is clueless like the rest of the coaches.
 
One day King will learn to run a rpo correctly, and when he does our running game will improve. That said Lashlee called 5 straight runs up the middle when we got to the redzone. I can call that for a quarter of his salary.

Our "best 11 players" aren't good. LOL

And we've run several of those plays you mentioned, to no success. WE CAN'T BLOCK.

Nah the RB part is not a bad idea. He knows that’s his time to go when we need tough yards but when they stack the box and know you are just going to run inside zone since that is the only running. It wasn’t going to matter who tf was running the rock
 
I saw us try to run outside a few times saw us get tackled behind the LOS.

UVA’s best defenders were the 2 OL/DE Snowden and Taylor. Way too athletic and skilled for our edge blockers to get blocked.

6 games in and we've already run lashlee off now. So who should the next oc be? We need one that will have us undefeated after 6 games next year even though we play Clemson. I'll wait for your response?

Lashlee is literally THE ONLY REASON we scored any points last week, because he dialed up/schemed all 4 touchdowns.

I don't think yall realize how limited we are with this personnel. We already know the WR's suck. The O-line is garbage. And regardless of how highly some of yall think of King...HE'S NOT VERY GOOD. We've had such abysmal QB play around here for yearssss so everybody here feels blessed to have him, but he's very limited. He doesn't have very good feel for where the ball should go at times, and many times doesn't see guys who are open.

We all wanna see more balls over the middle, right? Well early in the game King threw a ball over the middle and guess what...it was tipped and fortunately Pope snagged it with one hand. We saw some of his short passes get tipped last week as well.

Wiggins and Malory almost allowed a pick-6 tonight with their lazy a$$ blocking and Malory is ALWAYS getting Rooster killed on swing passes/screens.

We ran outside zone today, it goes stuffed. Our fvckin' O-linemen don't move well enough.
We ran Power in the first quarter and our **** Left Tackle allowed the DE/OLB to juke him, get inside and tackle the RB in the backfield.
We also pulled a Guard on one of Chaney's long gains.

I think a lot of yall underestimate how limited we are.

UVAG is pretty limited too, especially without their best player in Blount and without their other starting S.
 
For those that say we have more talent then our opponents our Oline started the following last night:

Zion low 3 star
Scaife low 4 star
Gaynor. Low 3 star
Clark low 3 star
Williams. Low 2 star

Go watch a bama game or an osu game and look at their 5 star riddled lines and what they actually look like. Until we have that or something within 1 star of that don't count on an offense that can impose their will on anyone. Let the coaches figure it out since they were dealt a hand of deuces. Let him recruit some real lineman before running him off.

He's trying to force balance. UVAG can't stop the pass, and they were without both starting S last night. Instead of making them stop the throw game, he got too caught in balance just for the sake of balance and played into UVAG's one strength--run D.

He‘s not above criticism, when he calls a ****** game he deserves to be called out
