Rhett Lashlee on Joe Rose

Still this, and so this will likely be the limitation of how good the offense can be. O-Lines need consistency to develop as a group - you get guys learning different positions, different sides of the line - it takes a toll and makes for lots of mistakes. The mobile QB and spread will help greatly, but musical chairs approaching a season tends to show up against good defensive front 7s. Even with no spring, if the quality was there (best of best), then it would have shown before now (best of the worst). A decent high school team could have adjusted to the blitzes LSU sent at us after seeing the first couple; then UF last year and the sack-a-thon - both musical chair O-lines.
We knew the o line would be an issue, they're trying to find 5 above aversge guys out of a pool of 8 or 9 average guys.

You guys are arguing with a "back to the future" report that the dude made 12 hours before Lashlee even appeared on Rose's show. LOL

My remarks stay either way - they're still juggling. They have a good idea or they're looking for the lesser of two evils, and that comes at the expense of playing well together as a group.

It’s only one spot that still has a legit battle going. They’re trying guys at other spots but they pretty much know the four.

Yeah, I undestand the process. I started as either a guard or tackle from Jr High through four years as a small college starter. I'm just telling you what I know, and I blocked for six different thousand yard backs.

The whole running game aspect has me hyped. We control the ground and the spread is going to be like Nutella...
For the life of me, I will never wrap my head around NOT spreading the field to give your guys more room to work. What I witnesses last year was pitiful. Yes, Dan, let's squeeze everyone together as tightly as possible, so the D can do the same, then confuse the living **** out of our young OL.

Your remark stands even if what Lashlee said doesn't support this argument? Okie dokie.
