Rewatched the tape...I think it can be fixed.

Bryce was supposed to be elite safety and center fielder - but we are not seeing it. Poyser is not even close to footballs. in 2 seasons, how many passes has he intercepted, or even knocked down in coverage???? I cant remember him getting his hands on a football one time. Yes, he can be aggressive in run game, but he is useless in zone.
Isiah Taylor has more knockdowns than poyser. True story.

Why focus on teams with qb issues? That’s mostly irrelevant to us bc even 2nd stringers and average journeymen can carve us up based on the last 3 games.
Because they are in the top 10. We beat the living **** out of Pitt. I don't give two ***** what the stats say. The 1st team D held them to 14 points and the offense scored on them at will.

Wake has a better QB/WRs than FSU and UNC. We just didn't play as well and UNC/FSU screen you to death. Our LB/S play + DL awareness has to improve.

As a team - how many interceptions do we have? I remember Dunnigan against Clemson.

The Bryce on the hail mary, really was a jump ball hail mary.

Poyser hasn’t touched a football in his life here.
There is not one other interception I can think of.
How do you expect our DBs to get INTs when 99% of opponent completions are wide open. I can count on one hand the amount of contested catches our opponents have made the last 3 games combined. Every single time the WR has at least a 3+ yard bubble around him

My optimist side says we will get this **** together and run through the rest of the schedule and lift the title in Vegas.
My realist side says this team will be lucky to win the ACC and a playoff game. Hopefully SMU beats wake and we play them in the title game. I think Wake in its current form is a team we want no part of.

exactly my point. The DBs are nowhere near contesting plays. They allow space, run after catch…there is something very wrong here.

Feel the same. We are not a program that should be promoting from within at this stage. Get a natty under our belt and then maybe.
While I agree with you on the promoting aspect, any talk of a natty after last night seems far fetched. Our D will be taken to the shed by any of the top teams in the playoffs. That is, unless last night was the bottom and we get/adjust better hereon.

So you saw it and can fix it but no one in the Hecht saw it after Stanford, Wake, FSU and fixed it…
