Reviewing the Classes- The Class of 2014

I will go to my grave perplexed by Rosier ever having an offer to play quarterback at Miami.

Ryan Mayes over Quincy Wilson, Chris Lammons and Derrick Tindal was EGREGIOUS.

Malik Rosier never starts any games here if Golden signs a **** QB in 2015 and if Jack Allison wasn't hot garbage

Perplexing and non-sensical.

This shows the blue chip hole Miami found itself in after a subpar 2010 class and a miniscule 2011 class.

And below is the overall blue chip level on the Hurricanes roster. It was 45 in Coker's last season. It had fallen to just 20 in 2012, and had risen moderately to 25 by the 2014 season.

By comparison, it is 53 blue chip players on the roster for the 2025 season.

We did land Evan Sherriffs in 2015 as a developmental prospect.

It was probably challenging to land a blue chip quarterback in that cycle given that Miami had given the lead to a freshman quarterback the previous season and he was the likely starter for the next two to three seasons.
