a big part of the problem.

having been there myself, when you don't have your "it" guy on the field, the damage it does to your psyche as a QB can be significant.

i don't care if you're dan marino, tom brady, or TVD. how you think about things on the field changes when the guy who you most can trust is on the sidelines

That route combination is older than the sh*t stains in butch davis' shorts.

It was a basic staple in the offense we ran in college, so i know how the QB is coached on that play, and I understand exactly what TVD is doing here. and the result of him hitting the wheel is that he threw to the correct receiver based on the coverage.

It absolutely is a three read progression, just as roman described. so unless when you were a QB in college running that play and you were coached differently than i was, i suggest you just might want to let the grownups take this one from here.

@cway313 you make a lot of good points but if you think TVD all of a sudden sucks and it’s him, you’re going to see otherwise when he transfers. He was good under Lashlee. What’s changed?

If you all don’t see the scheme and coaching approach as the first problem, you’re fooling yourselves. These guys are not adapting to the talent and skills of the players we have. They are just forcing a square peg in a round hole just like the others before them.

I like his vids but the Hayes one was better this week. There were mistakes from everyone from the coaches on down. The QBs have absolutely failed to see high school open receivers and Gattis has failed in some formations and not having an outlet on every play like Rhett used to do.

Richt’s insistance in running his ancient offense with Jorn as QB CoRch was his downfall. And he refused to adjust to the players we have. That’s the same thing happening right now.

Steven F Austin just trounced MTSU tonight by the way.

Maybe so but his first year here we won 9 games including a bowl game win and a loss to FSU via a blocked field goal. I’ll take that as a first season with the exception of the FSU loss. Then the next year we win 10 games with Rosier at QB. If recruited a stud QB he probably wouldn’t have flames out. We only complain when the wins stop and in the third season they stopped that’s all there is to it. Doesn’t matter what the system is or isn’t if you win.
