In an otherwise down year it was nice to get revenge on Pitt and beat our two rivals.

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way. This team has not quit! That defense was eating today. And Homer and Deejay put the offense on their back. Look I am just as frustrated as everyone with this offense. But all this talk about the team quitting and Richt losing the locker room is inaccurate. There are some changes that must be made, but Richt is still in control of this program. Let's see what he does in the offseason. Hopefully he learns a thing or two from Brian Kelly and we can turn things around quickly with some fresh ideas on offense.

This defense is flat out fun to watch. ESPN commentators said our back seven were faster then Clemson. And then our DL absolutely feasted today. Give Diaz a raise and call him assistant coach as quickly as possible. We should have the #2 ranked defense at the end of today.

Perry played fine. I still maintain we are a 3 loss team max if Perry started the whole season. But he definitely needs to make major strides in the offseason. Otherwise Williams will get a good look.

WR what can I say. Get off Twitter and figure out how to catch a ball. Maybe then you will see the field more. Harley got nice dose of Karma today. He was the featured receiver and could not catch a cold. That was one of the worst performances I have ever seen. Cager not only has bad hands, he has no awareness of what is going on the field. I will just stop there, no reason to pile on. This group better have a great Spring or we are in trouble. I don't care what kind of offense is run. If our WR play this poorly again next year it will be much of the same.

OL actually played pretty well today. Probably their best game in a while. Pitt usually has a dominant DL, but either they don't have one this year or our guys neutralized them. I still say Searles has to go.

Homer is just a beast. That punt block was an old school Cane move. If I had to guess that Pitt player never returned. He got jacked up! If the WR room had a few Homer type players we would be much better off. Here is a guy who only played ST his Freshman year. He never complained he just went out and dominated on ST. And even after becoming the starter he still brings it on ST. This guy gets it and has the heart of a champion.

Deejay redeemed himself from last home game. Way to go big man. Punt return TD made us forget about JT for a minute.

Shaq, Pick and Jackson please come back next year. Please!!!

Playcalling - Clearly Richt is out of his element calling a spread game. Brooks was screaming for Miami to go spread. In his words "the ACC does not want Miami to run a spread offense". We need to go Spread and it needs to be run by an experienced guy who knows how to run it. Richt swallow your pride and understand your offense is no longer effective.

Has our Special Teams turned the corner? Two games in a row we win the ST battle. Let's hope the trend continues because I don't see a change at ST coach.

Happy for the Seniors to go out with a win at the Rock! Now let's get a bowl win.

The defense decided to play their game - and **** on the offense.

But.

Last week, we all saw Perry pulling his offense - pulling his team - and he pulled like Hades again tonight and the team decided to step up a bit.

If we had some receivers that could even hold their own balls - without dropping them - it would have been a much more lopsided score.

Great analysis. Gotta give Richt credit for being able to reign things in after each four game losing streak (lol, glass half full). Now if only he’d focus on the entire team full time and let someone else handle the game planning and play calling, I believe Richt could end his career on his terms.

Happy for the seniors but this didn't feel like revenge for me.. just more confirmation that MR wasted an elite defense while costing us games by "playing it safe" starting Rosier. Revenge will be going in dry for the next decade straight.

This game didn't mean anything to Pitt they already punched that ticket....revenge on a sorry team already headed to the chip means nothing!
