Whether the rest of this year or perhaps next year (provided TVD returns because of this injury setting him back),

Who do yall think is going to get more love between Young and Restrepo?

Young emerging only helps restrepo stay in the slot where he excels. We saw what happend when we forced berrios to play on the outside out of position.

Complimentary football.

they will help each other out BIGLY!!! I personally can't wait to have both of them on the field together.. then IMO only helps someone like B.Smith even more.... that's iffffff... Gattis calls a good game and OL can hold the line and Garcia can get it to them accurately... lol

Restrepo will potentially make Young 10x better. Having someone that can eat up the middle of the field makes things easier on the perimeter. As far as who gets more targets it truly doesn't matter. I'm more worried about who can scheme these 2 into success.

I don't like that "vs" in the title, OP. The way I see it, put these two ballers on the field at the same time in a scheme that puts pressure downfield while also providing some quick outlet, "pressure valve" type passes to the QB and watch defenses struggle to stop them both. If that happens, I am confident they'll both eat regardless of who is at QB next season.

That's what we should be worried about. Let's get ol gatty out of here!

X is going to eat on short/intermediate routes, opening up things for CY on the outside/downfield, which will then give X more room to operate underneath. back and forth and back and forth.

Be nice to have a stud TE emerge and someone to add an explosive element from the RB position (Citizen?) and we will be cooking with gas. Even if 3/5 or 4/5 of the OL are freshmen.

@Confidence1000 its been a minute you still here?
U know I’m still here! & just bc everyone is excited about Cormani committing doesn’t mean that Dey kan break the rules! This guy is outta line & needs to hit the button! Ain’t nobody getting tagged teamed around here! Jesus Christ hit the button

better be this year for Restrepo because if Ray Ray early enrolls I expect him to get the majority of the slot snaps by Week 6.

With X getting the short quick passes and Young the longer passes the offense would be much better as both would not be double teamed at the same time

They play different positions and really give the offense more weapons. A quality slot guy and a big guy on the outside. Complementary.

It doesn't have to be an either or choice.

I would think they help each other as Ds can't double cover both on field at same time.
