I don’t care if he never gains an inch returning a punt but NO ONE needs to be fielding punts but him…he’s like Berrios….sure handed and catching the punt is exercise number one.

I get your concern but we’ve had so many dynamic and sure handed guys. Somebody has to get dependable and be able turn the table. Getting special teams TDs makes offenses desperate which leads to predictability which favors the D.

We’re so spoiled from the string of guys we had from the 90’s-the early 2000’s with Hester who made it look easy. Difference makers!

I’m ok with Brashard too. He’s a natural catcher of punts and had no muffs last year when he was back there. I’ve been saying for a couple years he should be a st’s ace.

I’ll never forget my coach in college telling me get 7 yards a return and don’t muff it, you’ll be an all American. So simple but so true
