Restrepo being the glue

Best part is that he's young and setting the stage to keep this mentally going for years to come. With any luck, this spreads like the disease we love to beat to death and becomes the new normal in Miami. I'm pulling for this kid to push this on EVERYONE and the team supports him when you get those players that don't buy-in.

Wow this is all it takes. Someone stepping up and saying this is why we play football this is why we strap it up and put that U ON OUR CHEST. This has been missing for yrs. And it cant be just on offense we need it on def as well.
They ALL come in talking about turning things around. After they've been around mind numbingly bad coaching a while, they eventually give up and leave ASAP. So no, it takes more than a couple young men with a positive attitude to turn things around. It takes a coaching staff that can keep that attitude strong.

Don't get me wrong, I love it when I see young men wanting to work hard and succeed. It just kills me we have had coaches so bad the young men eventually just lose hope.

Restrepo and his 2020 class and the 2021 class with the MNW guys are going to go a long long way in turning around the culture that strayed on this team. You can see it already in the way they interact with each other.... Hopefully their enthusiasm and leadership will bring back those same traits the 2018 guys had and seemed to lose track of last year....

We’ve said this about every class. Need the older guys to step up and be leaders for the young guys otherwise it will be more rinse and repeat

I would argue our Canes just need the leaders to step up. They aren't confined to year group, but rather what's pumping in the chest and firing in gray matter upstairs from.

Maybe good things are gonna happen this year. Maybe Dwins has just busted a slump. We might just be looking back at his post in the future and say this is where the turnaround began.

He’s gonna end up playing D here. We’re gonna be too loaded at WR & he’s gonna do whats best for the teams & be a stud on D. Calling it now.
