Even though we are small/tiny compared to many other P5 schools, look at how many people and departments there are to manage. So a couple of takes on the data:

Sports are big business, and like any big business, resources, brainpower and experience are mandatory to be successful.

Blake should have never been given the AD position. I know its the gospel now, but hindsight indicates it was the equivalent of promoting Shannon or Diaz to head coach. We continually do that and try to train people on the job for senior positions.

Not only does the new AD need to be experienced in managing people/bureaucracy, his direct reports need to be as well. Again, its gospel now, but putting a Jen Strawley in charge of the football program was sheer insanity.

Connections matter in life, and football/sports are no different.

A. we don't allow a real AD to do their job bc were too meddlesome.
B. this football AD bs will basically take qualified ADs out of the running. no one wants to come here to be an AD when the largest money sport you're supposedly in charge to oversee is being run by someone else. its the dumbest **** alive but very Miami.

White was hired in 2018, Lane in 2016, so no. But the oomph comes from the President John Kelly, who is the anti Shalala/Frenk.

Totally under qualified. Neither Blake Nor Paul Dee should have been hired woth their resumès. Hocutt and Eichorst had experience, but the school couldn’t retain them. So they fell back on acting like cucks and hired from within.
