Reports: Texas Tech to fire Matt Wells

I doubt Harsin gets fired in year 1, they’re paying him $5.25mill per & he’s already earned an incentive bonus for getting them to be bowl eligible this year, his buyout is $17.5mill if they fire him without cause & simple dissatisfaction with his record in year 1 isn’t a just cause lol

Plus they just paid $21.5mill to fire Gus Malzahn, it would be one of the most retarded moves to fire Harsin this early, especially because no coach worth their weight in salt would wanna go to program that unjustly fires a coach after one year.
Exactly.
On another note, rumor has it C. Peterson is pushing his name for the Udub job.

He’s Chris Petersen’s protege, he handed him the Boise St job once Petersen went to UW & Harsin did a great job continuing on what Petersen built.

He’s a better fit at UW than Auburn, but I don’t see him jumping ship this soon, if he does it speaks volumes to coaches not always chasing after money & staying patient until the right job comes open.

It never made sense for him at AU to begin with, but I guess the money was too good to turn down lol.

Definitely a better fit. He's brought a gang of Boise guys with him and they are out of place. SEC recruiting ain't for the weak!

The 2021 Auburn offseason deserves a deep dive in a few years

I remember hearing Auburn might have a vaccine mandate, and Harsin might not be vaccinated.
He's definitely not vaccinated, and it could be their get out of jail free card if he really goes all out
