I think they got a phone call. The O/U was 48.5 and I'm sure a lot of people bet the over.

At the time the score was 42-6 with 7:42 to play. We managed to get that late FG with 2 min left so **** Vegas and **** the refs.
 
They have five people in the replay booth but one person does all of the talking and tells everyone else what he is seeing. No one ever speaks up in disagreement. It comes off shady.

Remember, the ACC was forced to admit that they had non-football people in the replay booth making final decisions on calls. Not just non-referees, they had suit and tie conference officials making the calls. It looks to me like its still the same but while on TV. We sit there and watch them get stuff wrong and no one questions it, then the media does their job by legitimizing it by thanking the ACC for their openness.

I forget the call last year where they changed their mind even while showing video that clearly was different from what they were saying. The “we’re all in agreement?” And then all of them agreeing was some weird stuff. Wish I could find the clip.

Yeah ...I don't think some people in vegas called a direct line to the ACC replay booth during a TV tineout and said hey we're 1 pt away from hitting the over. Don't you dare overturn that call.

Come on guys. I just believe it was a sympathy call and they all just wanted to go home.
 
I didn’t even know they reviewed the int. but was pretty impressed on the punt that bounced of the back of Brown that they caught the Stanford player kick the ball with his foot.

Overall I thought the refs did ok. They’re not going to get every call right.

From the stadium it wasn't clear they even went to the booth. But we could all tell it was incomplete. At that point we were like whatever, give the defense some more work. Mario didn't seem too upset either.
 
Bias aside there wasn't a view that showed it was without a doubt dropped. So they stuck with the call. At least this isn't like the Chaney situation
 
I swear Standford had a similar situation against Hawaii, with a reciever clearly trapping the ball against the turf but replay confirmed a catch

It's either an interceptiin, or it isn't.

It doesn't have to be a direct line...these officials know what time it is when the game begins. Vegas wins the majority of the time.

Why do you think questionable and BS calls always come in the last part of the game?

It doesn't necessarily change the outcome of the game, but there is money to be made.
It actually matters when there are point spreads and over/under.

Do yourself a favor and next time you watch a game know what the over/under is and point spread and watch how the game is called toward the end.

Vegas is so close EVERY time like they have the sports almanac from "Back to the Future"
