I think this is huge change/replacement for our year. Bags was solid and steady in all aspects of the kicking game , so let's hope Bubba and crew can make the transition and handle the pressure. If not, we've got 3 other kickers on the team to step-up and challenge.

Let's hope all goes well and we have a star between all of them...So important

bags was overrated, biggest kick of his careerr was an xtra point against GT, blew the wisky game

I saw bags and Bubba and immediately thought it was another Alabaga thread. Long line of great kickers here, hope Bubba is up to the challenge.

All of the above

Badgley hit some good one's during his time here and he'll always be appreciated

But I'm glad he's gone. Shoes won't be that big to fill, I think Bubba will be more than fine

Kicking is all mental, Baxa will be more than fine to replace bags, but I wouldn't expect him to be great making his first start against LSU on primetime

You won’t know a thing about Bubba until he’s asked to make a kick in front of a crowd under pressure. Any of these kids who go to kicking camps can hammer it in camp settings.

Problem with a lot of Kickers is once they fail early they can never really shake it. So we need to hope he gets off to a fast start, or the kicking game could be a huge catastrophe this year.

If I was Rick I would have tried like **** to find a grad transfer Kicker who has made kicks with the band playing.

Bags wasn't that bad guys. He played well and we should thank him.
But going to my point, it'll be interesting to see if Bubba, or one of the other 3, steps up and plays just as well. We'll need it.

It looks easy to do but kicking xtra points and field goals aren't that easy to make.nerve has to be cold as ice to kick when the pressures on.but cmr is smart enough to grab a good one

Almost worthless thread since it’s true about kickers, you won’t know shlt until they’ve actually kicked in a real college game. Even guys that made pressure kicks in high school, you just don’t know, college is a completely different environment, on the field and in the stands.

Also, we have several kickers to choose from, although naturally since Baxa is the scholarship kicker he’s expected to be the guy.

But non-scholarship kickers coming on to become regular kickers and even make clutch kicks? Happens all the time in college football. Very common.

Sorry, but I disagree with most of you Bagley lacked a little focus but he was a good kicker. He lacked some consistency but he was a good kicker.

Fadgley is another gutless Golden player like Kaaya. Way too soft to play here. Thank God all those tools are gonzo.
