I know we are all upset we missed a guaranteed chance to be in the playoffs, but even with the loss we've accomplished a lot this season in the mist of rebuilding. We are on the verge of getting the depth of talent needed to complete our climb back to the top. If Nkosi is the QB we expect, an improved OL that can also open running lanes and a luxury of DB's, then imagine what the future holds. We getting there fast than we thought.

Does not excuse a loss to a 4 - 7 team with "everything" on the line.

We need to build championship mentality. It's the hardest aspect of teams to build. The habit to play the hardest every time you take the field regardless of when, where and who you play.

Anyone watching AU-ALA think we could realistically be expected to hang in with either of them for 60 minutes? I think our OL would be destroyed. We still need a different level of skills than we currently have on our OL. Bigger, stronger and more athletic. Donaldson might be a start but ... we're hurting there. We're still just not physical enough to even gain a yard when we need it.

QB and punting are another two areas badly in need of upgrading. Malik has exceeded all my expectations but ... As for our vaunted defense, notice that VT pitched a shutout against Benkert and UVA, at their place! UVA put on a track meet and QB clinic against us.

We are not rebuilding, we just building. So even more so it has been a fine year, but it is not over. We are not out of the playoffs. We win and we are in. SEC now has a two loss team or the team that two loss team just slaughtered as a Champ. ACC Champ gets in, period. WI wins they are in. OU wins they are in. SEC gets a spot but not two. It can be their champ or bama but not both. Nobody will give us a chance against Clemson and that is a good thing.

Just a little over two years ago we lost 58-0 at home to the team we’re playing in the ACC Championship.

Disappointing loss yesterday, but a season we can be proud of. The team came back and won multiple games we would have lost or even been blown out of with previous coaches. All this despite an average QB, losing our top RB, and our best WR hobbled by injuries most of the season.

ACC Coastal Champions, playing for the conference title for the first time. Ever.
Beat FSU for the first time in seven tries.
Beat VT and ND on national prime time TV. Beat them soundly.

Would you rather be Michigan? The Wolverines have beaten Ohio State ONCE in 13 games. Jim Harbaugh will do well there but he’s 8-4 in his third season. Lost 3 games each his first two years. Some savage. Maybe he still need ‘his players’. He needs a QB? Too bad. He’s had three recruiting classes to find the next Andrew Luck. Not easy, is it?

So, how will we beat Clemson, who beat Auburn?

Agree the roster is not ready and the staff has done a miraculous job getting us to 10-1 with a Al Golden QB who our own staff though he would never play here, this same QB also stated that he wasnt into the game yesterday let that sink in.

We're not going to run the ball on anyone we face in the Playoffs.

However, I don't think anyone has the horses to cover Richards, Thomas, Berrios and Herndon. It just takes Rosier making some accurate throws.

It's how we've got to 10-1: defence causes chaos and takes the ball away, Rosier and the offence hits the big play.

We're not perfect, we're no the finished article, but we'll give everyone a game.

Same way we beat VT & ND....fast start on offense, creative play calling by Richt, dominating defense. Really worried if Herndon is out, would be a critical loss.

Roster isn't ready but you've still got to be greedy as ****. I don't think we have a prayer of defeating the elite programs play to play. We'd need turnovers and big plays of our own. Give it a chance to happen. Otherwise in a year or few the roster might finally be ready yet something goes wrong, like a quarterback injury or bunched injuries at a key position, and we're knocked out. Next two seasons we open with LSU and Alabama, not Bethune-Cookman.

Yal underestimating our team.. we're not perfect by far but we can go with the best of them that has been proven this year..

If we win the NC this year it will be every bit as surprising probably more because of the number of games we would have to win then the 1983 NC.

I’ve said that this team reminds me of the 1983 Team.

Remember, this team had that horrible, Shut The Program Down, loss to the Gatah in the Swamp. First game. Awful beatdown of us by the Turds.

We never lost another game all the way through the National Championship.

We lost to Pitt late in the Season, and this loss has served as a tonic to these young men: they won’t want this experience again anytime soon.

I think they can win. But it will take their best efforts on every down.

LSU and Florida

I fully understand any more wins this season are going to be amazing regardless. If Miami doesn't win another game this season the season has still been insane. I think Miami will end up making the playoffs and getting smoked by someone like Oklahoma but that is A-ok with me . It will have our guys hungry for next season . Although playing Bama or OSU in the orange bowl is nice as well.

This season is gravy. O-Line qb and punter are the areas where this team needs dramatic improvement. Otherwise they are competitive talent wise with the best teams.

If someone were to bring up the talk preseason, the high expectations were to win the Coastal and go to the ACC Championship Game. Pretty much everyone I knew had Clemson as the team to beat with FSU being our biggest hurdle in getting there.

The season has already been a success, better than the craziest homer predicted. Anything beyond this point is gravy and I think we all got caught up in the hysteria of something we haven't ever done while climbing the rankings.

This is a game and we have a shot. Any team can win on any day. See Pittsburg just yesterday. I just hope, should we lose, that people don't shred this team or the staff. We're a work in progress and hopefully everyone can talk after the good or bad like adults.
