"On Hurricane Hotline, Richt reiterated the point he made to me on Tuesday: He’s not going to play young players to give them experience if there are older players who give him a better chance to win."

“They make a mistake, and dad gammut, it costs you a game"

What about the pulling of Perry after FSU and the loosing skid and turnovers with Rosier?. What about the crucial drops of passes from upperclassmen?

Best chance to win? Win what exactly? At this point u have to wonder if this is about some kind of contract incentive for him. Get to X number of wins & he gets a bonus.

Next year, when we have a large number of players starting who have little to no experience & he starts blaming that lack of experience for losing.. someone needs to show him that quote.

And while I'm thinking about it.. When he decides to start Knowles over Hall, he needs to fired on the spot. Really feels like something we can expect.

Leave him be. He may not have much else in life. :sentimental:
I read the quote as being a coaching philosophy that has been used and is still being used despite it's ineffectiveness. If we trashed everything that was said over a week ago then very few people would ever be accountable for their actions in any endeavor in life. Besides most books, writings, research, etc. use material that is over a week old in much of their content.

I read it the same way.
"George Santayana. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. George Santayana (16 December 1863 in Madrid, Spain – 26 September 1952 in Rome, Italy) was a philosopher, essayist, poet and novelist."

We got senile Bobby Bowden without any of the winning that preceded it.
The real Bobby Bowden played the long game.
Had us infiltrated from within.
Now we're stuck with "Wide Richt".

Rorcht has given us some pretty memorable quotes the past couple weeks, but "Gives us the best chance to win" may be his defining one. Never forget the first touchdown of the season was given up as soon as [upperclassman who will not be named], much to the dismay of anyone with functioning eyeballs, took the field.

Set the tone for the rest of this abysmal season.

Don’t worry about @Jaromir Jagr he Takes his role as board contrarian very seriously.
