Remaining Schedule

FSU gets Clemson at home. Will be interesting but I agree FSU probably won't make ACC game. Who cares about a rematch with them? Would just like to see Canes win Coastal & at least GET IN THE GAME FOR ONCE.

FSU won't win the Atlantic division, so any pipe dream about Miami rallying to win the Coastal and having a rematch is not going to happen.

Nothing would shock me aside from 0-1 losses.

I don't even consider running the table even possible. One loss is possible, unfortunately. The Coastal is probably *** down as it ever has been. We need Duke to stay healthy between now and that one. A few key injuries and the Fightin Cutcliffes just don't have the talent to hang. Thank god it's in Durham. Long walk to the stadium up there.

Luckily, it like Narduzzi has his kids buying in up at Pitt. Probably a loss.

I think we win next week, beat GT, and find one more.

6-6

Coastal is horrendous. An average coach would laugh at it and knock it with a clear sweep. Golden on the other hand will struggle and barely break even...

Will be fired soon...tick, tock...

I think we beat VT - they are inept on offense.

Florida State was too until last night.

#GoHokies

Unfotunately, looks like Fisher is opening the offense up some. Seems to finally have some confidence in Golson. I expect when they play Clemson, they will have opened it up even more.

Hope JC calls offensive plays like he did last night. If he does, we have a shot to go 8-4, nd who knows, maybe get to ACC Champ game.

Vt -L
Clem- L
Duke- L
Virginia -w finally golden beats London
Unc - L golden can't stop explosive off
Gtech - w pulls one out
Pitt - L
5-7 at best

Other than losses to Clemson and Duke, the rest of the games are toss ups. With the odds that we lose one of those toss up games, I say we end up 7-5.
A record bad enough to fire Golden.

I said before the season 5-7, sticking with it. They came out flat in the first half, and it wasn't until the second that they actually showed life. Did you guys see their faces after the game? They are done. No amount of coach speak will recover that, no amount of convincing people "Coastal is still ours guys, we can be the winners of the ****tiest division!" will bring them back. See last 2 years for evidence.

5 wins might be considered a stretch at this point. What 2 teams left on our schedule are automatic wins? Against this ******* disgusting coaching staff?

The Duke game is our superbowl. Clemson will sodomize us. If we follow that up with a loss to Duke, we will be nearly mathematically eliminated from the coastal 4 games into our conference schedule. Hoping that finally does Al in

Agreed, Duke is our most important remaining game.

Yes 5-7 is the ceiling. With a 2-6 record in the ACC, inside the worst division in college football, with a fifth year coach. What more needs to be done to can this clown.

Vt -W ...Golden averages 30 ppg vs Hokies
Clem- L...No comment necessary
Duke- L...Flipped this one from pre-season. Well coached team. They're ranked. Road game.
Virginia -W...law of averages
UNC - L... bye,bye Coastal
Gtech - W...Golden is 3-1 vs GT. They'll be deader than we are and heading south.
Pitt - W...who the flock knows, i'll stick with my double OT win prediction.

7-5... my God.

Why isn't anyone posting about Sarkesian's "leave of absence" from USC??

what’s most depressing is the coastal is absolutely terrible. GT is god awful so if we somehow beat VT, lose to clemson then beat Gt, UNC, and Pitt. We can win the coastal based on talent advantage over those teams DESPITE terrible coaching

now that would be bitter sweet. win the coastal yet golden would have completed his half *** goal of winning the coastal so James would probably give him another year which is worst case scenario.

Hard to say. Al did a good job convincing players they couldn't beat noles and that the game wasn't that important. Then they went and made a game of it and took lead. Then Al D did its magic and lost anyway. So they might collapse as usual. But then again, Al will be out coached each week and that might be why we lose. We do have a real QB. But we also have Al, Mark and Coley. Hard to figure.

Clemson plays FSU at home.

Everyone picking us to beat VT - We hadn't lost to Cincinnati in 67 years, they were 2-2 at the time and had already lost to Memphis and Temple. We can lose to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Don't count on VT to just roll over either. Same with every other team we play. Blood in the water now.

What's left:

Bethune Cookman - W
FAU - W
Nebraska - W
Cincy - L
Florida State - L
----------------
VT - Loss to a BAD team. Expect Bud Foster to go after Kaaya with cheap shots.
Clemson - Loss. Totally outclassed.
Duke - Loss. Out coached.
Virginia - Loss. Owned by London.
North Carolina - Toss up.
GT - By this date, it'll be a question of which team has given up more. Toss-up.
Pitt - Loss. Out coached.

Earlier I predicted a 4-win season. Looks to me like there's a couple of possibilities to eke out wins against NC and/or GT. Right now, 5 wins (and no bowl appearance) seem likely.
The wheels could fall of this bus
