Regular season finish?

Hope I’m wrong but going with the same prediction, I said after the NC state game.
6-6, we don’t win another regular season game this year. This offense has shown it can’t score.

- Loserville can put up points, we can not.
- BC should be a win, but we struggle in the NE in November. Game will be a snooze fest, players will checked out at that point and we lose a low scoring close game.

I think we’re slightly better than our 6-6 record and we beat what ever G5 team we play in the dogsgit toilet bowl.

Then we’ll hit the portal hard, get a few players that can contribute and a lot of JAGs.

Then proceed to go 7-6 next year, with every ACC game decides by less than a TD.
Rinse and repeat after that.
 
I said lose out after NCST and I stand by that. We will come out flat & unmotivated Saturday and UL will do the opposite an I think it will get ugly. Once that happens, BC will be a game where we go through the motions and just want to end the season. I’ve seen this movie a million times, prove me wrong. I’ll gladly post that I’m an idiot and was wrong af if it plays out otherwise. With TVD back at the helm, we will struggle to score again and our Def will tap out in the 2nd half, again.

Slight spark that was Emory is gone.

Brown isn't playing for whatever reason, even though his redshirt is in tact.

What do we see from Van Dyke that leads anyone to believe we can even score a TD in the next 2 games?

Said it with 4 games to go. We finish 0-4. So far we’re 0-2 in that span.

Louisville will murk us, and B.C. might also. They are a lot better than people think, and have a very athletic, dynamic QB that can run/pass, and he’s also from South Florida, so he’ll be hyped to prove us wrong for not recruiting him. We finish an abysmal 6-6.
 
The offseason is the best part of being a Cane football fan. 2-0, 1-1, 0-2 regardless of how we finish, the air has been zapped out of Mario’s tenure, thus far. For ppl like me who had low expectations of Mario to begin with, it blows even more

I've got us beating Louisville this Saturday for two reasons:

1) I fully expect the ACC referees to call at least three bogus penalties against Louisville. That's right, for the first time in 20 years, the ACC referees are going to help Miami.

2) I expect TVD to play better. I have to think him sitting the bench and watching the way Emory Williams performed and won the team over with effort will have a positive effect on TVD's performance. Im looking for him to have 25+ rushing yards this game.


As for BC - Who knows? Perhaps the worst time slot of the year (roadie at noon on Thanksgiving Friday). I'll say the Canes win it on momentum from the Louisville game.

8-4 heading into bowl season. Right where most of us predicted they'd be, before the season started.

Losing to BC in Chestnut Hill is not as egregious as our loss at "home" against GT. With that said if we finish at 6-6 by losing the last two games, I would be good with a banner. A 7-5 finish will probably equate to a lifesaver thrown to a drowning Mario.
