Regionals pitching rotation

Is FIU gonna go with their number one Friday against us?

Are you kidding? This is the biggest game in the history of their school.

Are you kidding? I'm sure a #4 vs. #1 first round matchup in the regionals is way more important than the 2001 Super Regionals against USC.

Right, because they have a tough decision to make: throw their #1 against Miami on Friday, or throw their #1 against USC in 2001. Tough call.

Seriously, if you can't understand that post in context, stay away from our threads. You're not exactly the most astute baseball guy around here.

You've got to be kidding. There is no way you can spin this to make it sound like you're right. No spreadsheet can help you with this one. You flat out said, "This is the biggest game in the history of their school." I mean, there is no context to see it in. I agree with you that they'll throw their #1 , as they should, but your reasoning, or your EXACT QUOTE, was ridiculous. You got called on it, and now you have own up to it.

No spreadsheet needed. You're playing semantics because I'm in your head. You're going to chase me around because of how many times I've made you look stupid in the past. Give yourself a trophy if you really think you've accomplished something here. You know exactly what I meant and you know the context. Keep bowing down to me, kid.

Yes, you should "leave it at that" because you know that you don't want to get into real facts and details. Hanging out with the players at Tulane doesn't mean you're close to college baseball. It's funny how the resident tough guy presumes that he knows everything about the anonymous poster that is curb-stomping him. How far am I from college baseball, since we should trust you?

I did a little more than hang out with players at Tulane, well, at least for my first 2 years there, but I guess you presume to know my life's story so well, why don't you tell me about my time at Tulane. I'd love to hear all about it.

The first claim was that you are closer to college baseball than I am. Go ahead and fill everyone in. Am I a former player? Coach? AD? Fan? We trust you, since you told us to trust you, so go ahead and back up your claim.

can we please get back to talking about the pitching rotation?

Another key to the first game is not killing your bullpen. It would be nice to have our starter go 7, have a big lead, and use someone like Briggi or Ortero to finish the game off. I would like to save Cooper, Mediavilla, Garcia if at all possible.

Scoring some runs early in game one can set the tone for the entire weekend. Would like to see East Carolina and Columbia go 23 innings tomorrow.

Fine, you got me, I have no idea who you are, which, as evidenced above, you have no idea who I am, and what I did at Tulane. Maybe we have similar experiences at the collegiate level, and if that's the case, then I apologize (see that, something alien to you).

Just wondering why you didn't go with the tuition waiver to stay at home and play in front of friends and family.
