But who will you find that has a better resume than Swasey? The list of players he has strained who are in the NFL, NFL HOF, NFL Pro Bowl is next level. Not only has he strained UM players other professional athletes from other leagues such as baseball and basketball has come to him.
Serious question: do all of those athletes go to Andreu Swasey, or do they go to Coral Gables, Florida? In other words, if Swasey worked in Laramie, Wyoming, would all of those athletes still go to him?
These players made a decision to not train with their teams S&C coaches which we would consider are the best in the game to come train with Swasey. Their decision seemed to be the correct one as they continued to excel at the highest level. People have a right to want Swasey gone but for reasons that he sucks is not only delusional but straight silly.
Pathetic......he does this every time.
Uses friendship and politics to stay in a job he should have been fired from a decade ago. Guy makes me sick. And any friend of his who vouches for him is doing so at the cost of our players.
#FireSwasey now.
He does need to go but, you would do the same thing to feed your family.lol
Honestly the dude has stolen so much money from this school over the years, using his little "I'm th reason the players come back" scam to stay employed. It's really disgusting that he has to enlist his buddies.
If I recall we had former players touting Randy, Cristobal, Kehoe, and on and on.......get the political friendship bs out of my face. He's been a ******* joke here for so long I'm sick of it.
So who has a better Resume than Swasey? List some and give a reason why they are better. Tell us about their strength philosophy
Cityboy you have to be related to the guy or its Swasey himself. No idiot can sit here and convince me that Swasey is doing his job. This team has been weak at the line of scrimmage since the later Coker years. Swasey is decent at speed training. That's about it. Skill players come back and train with him. Not one d@mn lineman because they know he is mediocre at strength training.
In addition, no one has tried to hire that guy. You're full of crap. Show me an article or any shred of evidence.
You defending Swasey and agreeing that bringing back Shannon in another thread tells me all I need to know about your intelligence or should I say lack there of.
Let’s discuss your post.
Since no idiot can convince you that Swasey is not doing a good job, can you provide the board with information about his training program and what it offers compared to others?
You mentioned in your post that the team was weak at the line of scrimmage. Let’s talk about that for a second. We have had many players drafted in which they out tested their peers routinely in strength and conditioning. The vaunted Alabama Linemen didn’t test better than ours. So is it really the Strength and Conditioning or is it the coaching and scheme.
Swasey is only good at speed training and he does not know about training linemen? Firstly, Swasey does not train the offensive and defensive linemen. Victor Ishmael trains our defensive and offensive linemen. He has 19 years of experience and was the assistant director of strength and conditioning at North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

You want me to provide evidence that you can’t offer yourself? Can you provide any shred of evidence that no one has offered him?
Lastly you asked would I bring back Randy Shannon as a DC if he was an option? Yes, only a fool would turn down a Broyles award winning coordinator with these stats
2001 – 6th
2002 – 7th
2003 – 2nd
2004 – 28th
2005 – 4th
2006 – 7th
The Gators players and coaches call him the “Guru” for his X’s and O’s ability and having a freakish ability to read a play before it even happens. People like to point to the Ohio State Championship games. People bring that up over and over. Do you realize that UM only gave up 260 yards total. 50 yards came from over time. Miami turned the ball over 5 times that game
The 2003 31-7 game we lost...Virginia Tech only finished with 219 total yards the entire game
The 2006 31-7 Louisville we lost...Louisville only finished with 389 yards
The 2004 41-38 Louisville victory...we gave up 500 yards total
The 2004 45-31 victory against NC State the defense gave up 440
It funny to think we actually thought giving up those numbers was the end of the world. Teams put those up in a half against us the last 5 years.
