Do our coaches recruit areas or is just by position? It seems that most programs do both but we seem to recruit by position.

It seemed that Coley was the lead recruiter of Tyson Campbell and I read that Cristobal recruited Minkah Fitzpatrick. Also at Missouri Kool wasn’t the lead recruiter for Sheldon Richardson or Shane Ray. I guess you’d still have had to put Rumph on AH but going forward it seems like it might make sense to take a more geographic approach and put the best recruiters in the most talent rich areas. The one exception being Richt with the QBs.

Coaches recruit by region. Doesn't make sense to recruit by position. Would be 10x harder.

That means Rumph would have to be in Broward to recruit one CB and then get to Georgia to recruit another CB then to Tampa to recruit another CB and blah blah blah.

It also makes sense to recruit by region when you consider the fact that some coaches have ties to certain communities. (hence the reason Coley is assigned to South FLA)

When you recruit by region ONE coach can knock-out 10 players a day in his region. You can't do that if you're recruiting by position.
