Good point. My angst probably goes deeper into the ESPN need to create schtick for years — it is college football - it sells itself —- I don’t need a Game Day Show with 4 people having roles as characters — I want 4 people telling me about college football...

To that point - cameras on field of play... less on sidelines...don’t miss a play to show me anything else

If you think our administration is going to do anything, I have some land in south Louisiana to sell you. But in their defense, it would probably make it worse since this goes all the way to the top of the ACC. Finding another conference is the only solution, and then watch their precious revenue sharing fall like a rock.

edit: I should add, they fired the crew after that game. You think any of the current crews are going to call it straight if they want to keep their jobs?

They did not fire the crew, they were suspended for a game. Back judge is a friend of mine and has worked some ACC Championship games and also several BCS bowls

U mean U didn’t like it when the announcer kept talking about the VT run game getting “all lathered up”?!? My personal favorite. I bet he was working a nice lather looking at the blond curly dude on the sidelines that they commented on his attire!

Agreed. I saw the same **** thing. I think it was Herbert that was able to drag our players for extra yards, after our players were waiting for a whistle

Did u see they showed him on the sidelines and he looked up at the video replay of it and you could pretty much read his lips saying something like “that’s ***king bull$hit, mate”! Maybe he said ‘man’ instead of ‘mate’, but I want to believe!

They fired the ACC Refs from the last 2nd kick return with laterals game against Duke?!

The most egregious part was how EARLY they blew the whistle against Chaney though. It was early enough to really stand out to me as unusual, and then when they let Herbert fight for yards on the very next series I started shaking my head.

yea the refs don’t give us an even break for the most part and haven’t for years I’ve ever but we don’t help ourselves by continually doing stupid sHT after stupid sHT every game either

Yeah but it did cause these refs to let their players do the same and say nothing.
