If they called half of these penalties against SMU, we win. They called a very favorable game for us vs Pitt, but I feel strongly that we still win if we didnt get some of those calls. Same with SMU...if they simply call the DPI against Marion or dont call the personal foul against Lightfoot, we're 11-1.

Is pulling the runner into the end zone the only time that’s a penalty? Cooper literally does that every other play

There was the little matter of the refs over ruling the replay crew on the Pitt sideline catch where the kids’ feet didnt come down until he was out of bounds. So there’s that.

The game was called pretty well. The only reason it felt like the refs were on our side is bc we never get taunting penalties called for us. That kid standing over whoever it was, was the definition of taunting. CJ getting shoved was the right call as well.

The feet didn’t even matter. I don’t know why they were so focused on that. He clearly lost control out of bounds when he hit the ground.

the game associated ref said u never call that....and he had never saw that

when the ref called it i looked at him dude wasnt in a position to call td..and kind of just went ho hummmm i gotta call something here n just threw it...as u see the other refs came in like what are u even calling.. if his dumb *** was in position he would of saw brown had already scored

Maybe the ACC decided it might be in their best interest to have Miami make the playoff, and told the refs to call it straight. Maybe they might have realized they have an issue with some of their ref crews. Who knows, but Miami would be 11-1 if not for the BS at SMU and the ACC would have a team in the top 5.

Agreed but in the end it didn’t hurt us because Brown got a TD moments later.

Aside from that bogus call in the end zone, it was nice to see that we played much cleaner than Pitt. Usually it's us with the dumbass penalties.
I don't know I got into ref on that play. I think he felt like he just had to call one against Miami. We literally get f***** out of a touchdown every single game.

I thought the game was called fair. The calls against Pitt were legit. And the calls against us (minus the called back TD) were legit

It was a good called game
