According to PFF, Mahoney rated as the 3rd best OL behind Boulware and Gauthier, who were the only two to rate as average according to their scale. On the very low end of their average scale. Everyone else, including Mahoney, rated as below average.

Not sure if this is a joke but Boulware I believe graded out the best at 83%. Mahoney isn't a starter at a big time FBS program. We can keep him in until Scaife or Reed is ready but Boulware needs to take someones reps.

If you are relating to PFF grades, 83% was Boulware’s pass blocking grade. His overall grade was 62.1%, on the low end of the average scale but sadly still good for best on the team.

This. Navaughn has no business at OT.

I mean, I get it - starting Scaife at RT against the likes of Chaisson is highly risky. Richt, being Richt, chose the "safe" way out. That said, I can't believe that the coaches are projecting ND at RT on a permanent basis.

My only question is why didn't Scaife get more PT? He's clearly our most talented backup and has gotten rave reviews in summer practice. Better start seeing these young guys start playing this next 2-3 game stretch so that the JAGs on this team go back to being situational backups rther than starters.

Jesus Christ it's year 3 and people are still hoping that the Freshman step in and become impact starters.

In the staffs defense you don't fix the online in year 1 or 2. They have been laying the foundation and are starting to bring in the right players.

I can agree with this. Searles doesn't have much to play with here. Some of these guys shouldn't even be here (Milo, Mahoney) and/or have been slow to develop (Herbert/Gaynor).

Ultimately, his job or fans calling for his job will depend on him signing Evan Neal and developing Scaife and Reed ALOT faster then he had anticipated.

Again it's year 3 and we're being destroyed in the trenches when we play a Dline with a pulse.

We don't have an NFL line in there, but there's enough talent there to play better than they have been.

Did you see the thread by Lance Roffers with the breakdown of some individual plays.

Is it really a fact that Hayden Mojones graded out best?

Or is it a case of favoritism? Is he the OLs Glenn Cook?

Where is the Lance Roffers thread? I somehow missed it.

Must move big Vaughn back to guard. Scaife will handle RT. **** if Gaynor is ready for Center, move Tyler to LG too.

That 2nd year OT from Georgia ready or not? He looked pretty chiseled, tall and lean. He can't play LT? If not, put Scaife in at LT with these upcoming cupcakes. Put Venzel a veteran at LG next to him. Gauthier at C. Donaldson at RG. Tyree back at RT.

Bottom line, Rosier needs to make quicker decisions to help these boys out. Not count to 2 and run.
